DoubleTree by Hilton Miami - Doral, FL

A good place for the family to stay.

I stayed only one night with my family in two rooms, everything went very well from check-in to check-out. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms, dining options, excellent breakfast, and easy access to the facility from the airport made our stay extremely enjoyable and exceptional.

It was an easy check in experience and the chocolate chip cookie that they give at check in are amazing. Mykids really liked them . Very nice staff from housekeeping to the front desk. I will definitely recomned this hotel.

Good clean spot for families who are in transit within Miami

Service was incredible. They give you a free cookie when you check-in but when we checked in, they didn’t have any ready. The gentleman at the front desk (Gabriel?) had two cookies waiting at the front desk for the next time I came by making the kid happy! The only complaint I had were the amount of towels. We only had two large towels in the room but 3 people (2 adults and a child). We could have requested another one, but there was a second smaller towel in the bathroom we used instead. Despite being close to an airport, we didn’t even notice any noise from passing air traffic. Felt like it was a safe location as well. Would definitely take the family back here again.

There is no kettle in the room which is not so comfortable if you stay with a child and need to make a baby formula at the night. Another one is: the shower head was broken

So disappointed in this hotel. We’ve stayed in many Doubletree hotels and they are all of the expected standard. We had gone to see as much of the US as possible as a family coming from London. We had a busy few weeks in New York and Universal Orlando and were looking forward to a relaxing week in Miami for the last leg of our trip. We planned on relaxing by the pool most days. The pool was closed for emergency maintenance for our entire stay with no idea when it would be fixed. It’s advertised on Trip adviser as having family/childrens activities but there’s absolutely nothing. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so with the pool out of use and nothing for kids what do you do? The shuttle service is advertised as being able to take you anywhere within 5 miles. We asked to be collected from Kings dining @ bowling but were told no it’s more than 5 miles away when it’s not, it’s 3 miles away. Our room had no housekeeping on 2 of the days. Coffee was never restocked, we had to keep asking. They don’t put any bottled water in rooms, which is unusual, as they do in all Doubletree hotels we’ve stayed in and most other hotels. We are a family of 3 but they only gave us 2 towels and 2 cups. The shower is very weak. The air conditioning wasn’t great, it was too hot to sleep. We complained and were given a free breakfast on our last day but I didn’t think this sufficient to make up for it. I should have been offered a refund. To top it off the sausages were not cooked through

Excelent hotel for family and or business travel. Clean facilities and rooms, and close to many retail and restaurant options. The hotel food and bar options were great as well. Friendly and excellent communications with the staff.

This hotel was wonderful! The staff is very friendly and helpful with anything that was needed. The room was perfect. The hotel overall is very clean, comfortable, and great for families and solo trips
