Kimpton Lighthouse Hotel, an IHG Hotel

My husband and I stayed here for a kids free trip! Our room was clean! It was close to everything and quiet at night. We will be sure to stay here again when we return to Key West!

As beautiful and aesthetic this hotel is I unfortunately have to say theirs way better and beautiful places to stay at in Key West. They do not associate with the lighthouse so it’s just next to it with the name. We are common goers so we wanted to do something more relaxed. If you’re going with kids this is not the place you want to stay at. The pool has a capacity of 10 people. Our room was roach infested from the hair dryer to the floor it was disgusting. If you suffer from allergies do not go to this place the AC sucks with constant cold air and probably mold. The room we got thinking it had a patio w/ king size we thought would be bigger but it was simply just that. Theirs no security so anyone can just come right in to the premises with no light. The people are very kind and friendly but unfortunately I did not like this place. Usually not the one to leave reviews but definitely this was not it. PARKING SUCKS!!!!!

Stayed here for family trip to Key West. Was pleasantly surprised by the separate bedrooms, didn't expect that when choosing 2 queen beds. Staff is friendly & helpful with all things-attractions, food reqs, etc. No onsite parking, but they own a lot 2 blocks away that's convenient to get to and charge is $30/day. The breakfast is great with a variety of options and fresh options. Biggest perk is location- just 1 street off of Duvall and all main attractions. Only annoyance was loud air conditioners in each room.

Property was quaint and nice area to walk to Duval St. Had an issue with one of our rooms we stayed in but the issue was resolved, although we had to put one of our family members at a different location. Staff was great in resolving this issue and bar staff very friendly.

Excellent and safe place to stay with your family.

Very unique hotel close to everything downtown Key west has to offer. This is my third stay at this property and I’ll return again. Nice tranquil property with a lot of trees and foliage, small pool and bar area just big enough. Cute individual bungalows. The only issue was the AC was broken in my unit but they replaced it within 1 hour of being noticed with a brand new one! Continental breakfast free 8-10am. This place is good for everyone, families, couples or friends.

Paradise or Pathetic? The Kimpton Lighthouse was a top choice for our Key West trip but after a 5 day stay we will NEVER be back. Upon arrival the first thing that jumped out to us was the sizable room and plenty of natural light. Unfortunately the bathroom is built in a broom closet. Straight ahead is a kid sized sink that blasts water on the floor if turned on too fast. Luckily, this aids in the necessary spin move needed to get comfortable on the crooked toilet seat.. Not ideal but it gets the job done. However, not as much can be said of the shower that gently trickles water on your head. We weren’t happy but made it work for the first few days; when we had towels that is. Over the last 2 days of our stay and with 3 trips to the front desk, we did not receive a single towel. They had all of them in the dryer. For 2 days! Every single towel in the place was in the dryer. On our final night we came back around midnight to a bag of towels only to be surprised with the water shut off to the building and a COCKROACH walking through our toiletries. The following morning (after sleeping with one eye open and not showering for 72 hours) we proceeded to checkout with a smiley women who didn’t ask a single question about our stay. Good riddance Kimpton Lighthouse!

The front desk staff was amazing! The 2 bedroom was perfect for our family. We walked everywhere, never moved our vehicle our entire stay. The only downfall was there was no place to walk our dog on the property, and it’s a dog friendly hotel.

We felt so welcomed at this amazing property! From the moment we checked in we were treated like family. We arrived at 8:30 am to drop off our bags and we were taken back by the staff offering us to have some breakfast at the pool while we waited for our room. There was a technical issue with the door lock when our assigned room was ready and the staff upgraded us to a perfect room with a little porch. This was all handled behind closed doors and wasn’t even brought to our attention. They just handled the issue and went above to make sure our experience was superb. The staff at the Lighthouse hotel is top notch. The continental breakfast was unique and delicious. The pool was nice size and quaint. The only suggestion I have for the pool is a chiller because the water was so warm with how hot it was during our stay in August. This will be our go to place to get away and unwind.
