Southernmost Beach Resort

Pros: - Rooms were clean & adequately sized for a family of 3. - The pool areas were quiet & clean. Cons: - Beach area was not accessible due to construction. - We were consistently interrupted by cleaning staff early in the morning, even with the privacy sign visible. - Ants were observed crawling all over the room, bathroom, & beds. I brought this to the attn of the staff however the matter was not resolved nor was there any attempt made to resolve during our stay. While some staff were friendly, there was one incident on Friday when a pool staff member blatantly ignored me. She went around to EVERY guest to take food/drink orders but walked right past me without acknowledgment. I had to end up walking up to the bar to grab a menu myself. As all of the guests at the pool were White & I was the only Black woman, this incident reflects poorly on the resort, specifically on a racial & customer service level. Overall, our stay was decent but Im uncertain if we will choose this resort again.

Rooms were very nice and clean Staff was very friendly kids had a great time

The property was spacious and featured three different pools for adults and children. Additionally, it offered a beach with chairs and umbrellas that could be reserved. On-site, there was a bar and restaurant serving great food, as well as convenient laundry facilities. Lastly, there was a small workout room with good equipment and weights.

Nice vacation spot in key west. Perfect for families with children. Not close to Mallory square but it’s a 1.5 mile walk or lots of other transportation options. Don’t let the negative comments sway you from choosing this place. It’s a great place.

We spent a week at this property. The staff were so kind. The greeting we received at check in was exceptional and so efficient. The property is beautiful and within walking distance of so much to do in Key West. Uber was easy accessible when we did not want to walk. The hotel helped book all of our excursions. The activities provided by the pool kept the kids busy and the staff was so attentive. Food by the pool was so good! We will definitely be back!

For the amount paid for the night the hotel was not up to par. First you have to pay a $64 resort fee abd if that wasn’t enough they charge $50 for parking. Upon arrival systems down so we had to write down credit card info. (which felt unsafe) then we were given the key to our room which was occupied by another family! Besides that -beach restaurant was dirty and overpriced. Will not return or recommend.

We did not like the fact that two days we had no room service. I had to bring out the trash to the cleaning lady and the same with the towels. The Pineapple bar had 4 tvs one worked. All week on that tv we’re repeat sporting events. The bar staff was wonderful. No accommodations for having a late flight except to pay an additional day. I won’t ever make that mistake again. The dining options need to be revamped. They really need one dinning room to offer guest with kids older guest more options.

This hotel is an amazing place to enjoy with your partner, family or friends, super clean and good service , We had an amazing time at this key west hotel

The resort is beautiful and the rooms are very large and extremely clean. The private beach could really use a raking to get rid of the junk coming in from the water. But this resort is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL. The resort has 3 pools and one is adults only. That is the only pool w no bar or music so the adult come to the other 2 pools. They all hang out in large groups in the shallow water, drinking and talking and no where for kids to go. Not that there are many kids even at this resort (someone recommended this resort to me telling me they bring their kids all the time). One of the pool days my son and a kid he made friends with at the resort were in the pool throwing a ball back and forth. Several of the couples around were playing along with them when a worker came and yelled at the kids saying that is not behavior for a pool. The kids weren’t hurting no one, or bothering anyone and the people around were laughing and playing with them. What are kids to do? Just stand there in the water amongst adults while they drink and enjoy themself? This has really bothered me. Why not have the pool w no bar, the kids pool and allow the kids be kids as long as they are behaving? Even the adults that were playing with the kids were irritated by the kids getting yelled at since the kids were being respectful and playing nicely. The beach is filled w lounge chairs, so no where for them to go there and play and if they did, they prob be yelled at again. Do not take kids her

We really enjoyed our time with the kids. Even though we have little ones the hotel was really kid friendly.
