Plenty of activities for the kids, overpriced food and drinks. The beach is beautiful and safe for the kids with plenty of activities

Great place for families!

The property looks real nice but we weren't really impressed much. They first put me and my wife (that has mobility issues) in a room that we would have to walk twice as far to because the elevator right outside the room did not work. We could not get rid of the humidity in the room, it felt nasty the whole time. The floors were super filthy and our bare feet got really dirty in no time (we had to wash our feet before bed and wore our sandals around the next day). The room had no insulation to sound, heard screaming kids outside all the time - though if you have kids, I'm sure it's a great place to bring them. I guess they are some nice things. The restaurant food and drinks were really good (though expensive). The beach looked nice but we didn't have time to use it (that's not their fault). The bellhop service was super helpful. And the hotel did give us $100 credit when they moved us, but I'm think that was really just for the price difference on the room in the other wing to where they moved us.

I’ve been going to Baker’s Cay since they re-opened and have always loved it and have continued to return time and time again. Unfortunately, things have changed. What used to be a truly dog friendly hotel now places unnecessary rules and restrictions. For example, I was waived to get out of the ocean floaty with my dog because one guest said they were allergic to dogs. Are you kidding me? Everyone was enjoying my dogs company from kids to adults. Then I went to the pool area. I was not going to allow my dog in the pool but sit in the deck area to watch my wife and daughter play. A lady came running to me yelling get out. Management has changed and now you have a different Baker’s, for the worse. I guess if you’re allergic to dogs or don’t enjoy petting a sweet Golden retriever, this place is for you.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful and so is the service at all areas. Pool is good for kids and adults and the beach area is a huge plus, really clean and water was gorgeous. Unfortunately the room was definitely not worth the money though. We found food in the fridge that smelled really bad from the people before I (I’m guessing) which makes you question the cleanliness. The bed was very uncomfortable and it sounded like it was broken. The room next two us had some issue and the alarm kept going off the whole stay. We saw people in and out but nothing really fixed it. Definitely recommend for the day pass or maybe a room higher up but we won’t stay here again since there are so many options for the same or less price.

We come to Bakers Key resort a few times a year because this hotel nailed it. From the comfy modern clean rooms to the incredible food that is so healthy and fresh and of course the beach! When we tell kids we are going to Bakers Kay they jump up and down for joy packing their snorkel gear first since there are so many fish to see right at the beach! I would give it 100 stars if I could. This is truly our happy place and the staff make it our favorite spot in key largo!

Some of the most pushy rude unprofessional staff I have ever encountered. Bell hop was demanding I give him a tip before I even had the chance to offer him one. Not to mention I had to go to the front desk and request someone to help with my bags as no valet or bellhop was present upon arrival. I am not a hard person to please I am not a Karen but had it not been for the staff I would have given 3 stars. Some staff was very friendly and helpful but most were entitled arrogant aholes. One young lady at the front desk has no business being in customer service she is unbelievably unprofessional. I will never return to this establishment and I reccomend you spend your money elsewhere. There were so many children running and screaming at all hours which is nice for a family friendly atmosphere but if that’s not what you’re seeking then don’t go to bakers cay. Overall experience could have been worse but I can not get over how awful the staff members were. I could go on forever about how long I had to wait at the restaurant before anyone even spoke to me about staff members demanding a tip for simply showing me where to go. Also the respect grounds are in need of some renovation the area is dirty and unkept

Beautiful resort! Staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful. it has a private beach, marina with amazing sunset views, and champagne to go with the sunset watching. Restaurants and live music in the evening. There also activities for the kids throughout the day. I gave 3 stars for the favilities because the coffe machine was broken, they gave me a new one and still not working properly. For the price of the room, the coffe machine should be more nicer.
