Atlantic Bay Resort

This was a good property for family gatherings with the ability to cook meals on-site. We didn’t use a lot of what the room had to offer.

You didn’t have to leave if you didn’t want to. The kitchenette and bbq grills made making meals easy. Pool, kayaks and paddle boards were available. The marine life was so great to watch. We sat on the docks for hours watching everything swimming. Some people brought their snorkel gear. There were a lot of family with kids (so if you are looking for a break from kids, this might not be the right choice) It was me and my mom for a couple of days. We got Key Lime Pie from the factory a few blocks away, enjoyed all the local restaurants and fell in love with the new crooked palm cabana.

Lovet little place with a lovely view of the bay at the Atlantic Bay Resort. The tiki huts are very convenient for a small family, especially if you would like to do a bit of cooking yourself and just hang out in the beautiful surroundings. What makes it special is that it is a small place so you feel like you almost have it for yourself.

Really nice waterfront property. Traveled with family and we enjoyed the time here. They do serve hot coffee, bottled juice and packaged muffins in the morning, it was not advertised in the listing.

Terrific find. Quiet and just lovely. 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 12 and 9yo. Lots of fish directly at the beach, fantastic little area to swim in, lizards abounded on the property as well. Grounds were extremely well kept. Pool was immaculate. Even after a storm, they had it cleaned the very next morning. My only negative is that the continental breakfast was underwhelming at best. It had a small selection of options that were poorly stocked. I would suggest getting breakfast ahead at the food shop.

What a lovely place! Very cozy and perfect for a getaway with the family! It was so fun for parents as for kids! We will come back for sure!

Amazingly clean and well kept little hotel. We stayed in a suite cabin with Tiki porch and it was fabulous for three of us - parents with adult child. Very quiet on the first day of off-season right after Labor Day. Beach is very decent for the Keys, can’t really swim, but hotel provides kayaks and paddle boards. This was fun to use. Pool is not big but clean and adequate for lounging. We also used provided BBQ in the beach gazebo at night. Once we checked out they allowed us to hang around the beach/pool for few more hours. Overall superb experience. Truly a mini-resort.

Staff were super helpful and friendly, accommodating our early check in request as best they could. Pool was relaxing change from sea and perfect for children. Tiki hut was fabulous with porch to sit on. Great spot for unwinding after visiting Miami or on way to Key West.

The room was very small and noisy. There were several children staying next to us that jumped and ran around until past midnight.

The hotel is good for families w kids as provides basic activities (kayaks, bikes and small pool). Not ideal for couples or singles. The continental breakfast (stale muffin and coffee is bad)- for food or drinks you need to bring/cook own or drive to other places - nothing is walking distance. The hotel has good lighting and lots of windows (good) but no curtains and limited shades (very bad) - as no privacy - including a window in bathroom. The shade in our room was partially broken and we had to improvise w a blanket to sleep in or have privacy. The outside grounds are very well maintained and clean - very beautiful actually but the rooms need more maintenance - we had to change room as ac in first room was blowing out black dust or something and second one had one door lock broken- at least 1 worked and of course the broken shade to cover door. Very quiet and safe area for those seeking peaceful stay but office staff hours are limited.
