We stay at this hotel often when we are in town visiting family and have always had pleasant experiences. Bearing in mind that the location is under construction/renovation, the communication, we felt, was lacking. No signage indicating which entrance was closed at any given time made accessing our suite inconvenient and frustrating as it changed from day to day. We encountered issues with non-working door locks to our room as well. Outside of the issues that the hotel faced due to construction, our stay was as good as could be expected under the circumstances.

This property was amazing. They were able to fit us in last minute due to another hotel canceling our reservation a week before our stay during fall family weekend at University of Florida. The bathroom was spacious with an oversize walk-in shower, and the living area was huge. It was fully equipped. But what really impressed us was the staff. We received check-in’s by the staff asking if they could do anything for us, and the complementary breakfast was truly amazing with a wide variety of food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the Gainesville area and this is now our hotel of choice.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel halls have peeling wallpaper, the rooms were clean BUT had an odor; same with the other family we were traveling with. The water didn’t drain when we were showering and the shower head had no pressure because some was spilling out from the tub spout. I realize that is room specific, but the hotel wallpaper has to go!

We only stopped in for an over night on our way homw, but the staff was so friendly and the room was nice and clean! There was no free breakfast which isnt always ideal with small kids.
