We had an amazing experience at Lago Mar. We had a two night stay before we took a cruise out of Port Everglades (about 15 minutes away) and this was the perfect place to start our vacation early! Check-in was quick and easy, every single staff member we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful, and we loved having the beach so accessible to us! Our kids especially LOVED the resort pool; they happily spent the majority of the day playing in the water. This is truly a beautiful resort with so much charm - very "classic Florida." We ate exclusively on the resort grounds and every restaurant had excellent food. We plan on visiting again when we come down again for another cruise. Highly recommend!

Perfect location. Great service. Family friendly. Pool was great, Loved that it was heated. Room/suite was spacious. Balcony view was spectacular. Overall great and beautiful resort. Thanks Lago Mar :) We had a great time. Happy kids = happy parents!

We totally enjoyed our stay and participated in the annual egg hunt with the kids! Very fun:}. Beach staff was exceptionally friendly, will definitely return

Away from the "rat race " quiet residential area, right on the beach. 0.9mile to watch cruise ships sail away. We love the family owned hotel. Have done for years!! Great service.

I was pleasantly surprised and delighted at the beauty and condition of this lovely resort. The two pools…one a family lagoon pool and the other an adults only pool…were clean and lovely. There was plenty of seating and an abundance of clean beach towels. My room was clean, and lapacious, with a stunning view of the pool, the palm trees, and the beach. There was plenty to do outside…tennis courts, a basketball court, a put put course, a foosball table, outdoor chess, a very nice children’s playground and swings, a beautiful beach area, and a great outdoor food pavilion. The amenities were wonderful. I was very pleased with my visit, and definitely plan to return next year.

Our visit was a return stay but only for one night. We arrived early and our room was ready despite us arriving early. We were a family of 4 and the beds and towels etc were all provided accordingly (often have to ask for the 3rd & 4th set). The room was spotless. Pool was a little chilly. Ate at the pool bar for dinner and the Main restaurant for breakfast and the food and service were both excellent

This is our second stay at Lago Mar. We like to stay there before we go on a cruise. the property is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. There is dining and shopping. We love the "spa smell" piped into their AC systems. Our only complaint was too many kids diving and splashing in the pool all around us while parents drinking at the bar. There were no consequences.
