I recently had the pleasure of staying at CAMBRiA Fort Lauderdale Beach hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location, just a short stroll from the beach, was ideal for our family, especially with a toddler in tow. The modern amenities and design of the property made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and plan on staying at CAMBRiA again during future trips to Fort Lauderdale.

Modern clean hotel with convenient beach access. Nice pool and gym. Convenient breakfast and bar area. Small but perfect for a quick getaway with the family.

Bar staff & food amazing!!!! Then; 1. Option for the 25.00 early check in, don't bother. It's literally not available and the front office manager will recite the reasons to you like a unfeeling machine. 2. We had to get 7 different room keys in the first 2 days. No, we didn't have them by cell phones or credit cards as we know how it can affect them.. 3. Went out to dinner first night after finally getting into room, and shower. Upon our return , our key didn't work because they never fully checked us in!! And the agent at desk said yeah I have someone other than you due to stay in that room... Sorry that's a huge problem. 4. The pool area is literally a danger zone. They have no one monitoring it, cleaning it or even walking thru it periodically. The SLATE tileing around the pool is very slippery when it's wet along with the stairs to exit pool area. I fell while holding railing and almost hit my head on stairs. We witnessed a gentleman and a child both slip while just trying to walk to their seats. Absolute danger. Also at the pool, you must use key card to gain access to pool, that's fine, but you have to use key to exit pool, that's not good. If your key stops working, you literally can't get out. That's an fire risk. 5. Don't bother trying to obtain any assistance from the front office manager, she is rude and unhelpful, apparently to staff as well as she was verbally and loudly reprimanding an employee with her office door open, for all others to hear. Super bad.

The staff here really makes the place! Expedia didn’t have my information sent to them. However the day time manager was able to make it all right. We didn’t have rooms, she got us set up…even though the rooms I booked were not the same as what was advertised on Expedia. The bar staff friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant staff phenomenal. Especially a young lady that is from Argentina. She remembered our breakfast order and made things super smooth with my kids. The rooms are relatively nice, the beds could have been more firm. I happened to be traveling with cracked ribs and I couldn’t get comfortable at all. The on site restaurant was decent, although it seemed a little on the high side when it comes to price. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

To start, they charged me twice for my room. It cost me $1200 when I realized I mentioned it to front desk, she stated “it will drop off in about 5 business day” are you kidding me? You charged my card twice!!! So to save some money I said I’ll just eat at the hotel and charge it to my room and they can take it out of the deposit. Right? WRONG!!! Upon check out I was charged an ADDITIONAL $58 for incidentals. I mentioned to front desk that’s why they take deposits for incidentals so why am I being charged an additional $58 he said oh we don’t use the deposit for that. The deposit is just a hold and I’ll get that back in about 5 days. So not only did they charge my card $1200 (approximately) they charged me an additional $58. I travel a lot and used to work in hotels. That’s literally what the deposit is for! The hotel itself isn’t bad, however housekeeping has the nastiest attitude, giving people dirty looks. I was hit on by some guy vacuuming the hallway. I paid $20 for 2 beach chairs and one of them was broken. I brought it back to valet and he said he’s have the hotel refund $10 since the chair was broken. I seriously doubt I’m going to get that back. The room was clean, except for the glasses that had white spots all over them, they had coffee in the room but no foam cups or creamer but they had sugar and stirrers.. All in all, It was a very bad experience at this hotel. I wanted to really like it I was so excited to stay here. But no, I’d never stay here again!

A fine, decently-prices-for-the-area hotel. Our kids liked the pool, and we were happy to discover the 1/2 price bottle 4th of July promotion. Well, vacation is over. Back to work...

I feel like the property is under new management. I stayed here twice in Summer 2022 with no issues. However, I just stayed here again last week and had several complaints. First, our room smelled like marijuana. We complained to the front desk. They weren't overly concerned and they offered to change our room to one floor up or down (same side of building - i.e., 307 to 207 or 407). We declined as we have kids and a lot of stuff. The smell did go away, but there was no follow up from staff to check on the issue. Next, our TV did not work for the first few nights. Again complained to the front desk. Said the engineer would look at it the next day. Never happened. Had to complain again for them to come look at it. Again, no follow up from staff to ensure it was fixed. Finally, I had to ask multiple times for the room to be cleaned - I made it well before the 10am deadline, but it didn't happen. Finally happened the following day (not helpful). After talking to the front desk about my issues they gave me free parking and a voucher for free breakfast the next morning. I haven't received my receipt from the hotel so I am not sure if the parking was actually removed. Location is fantastic, but this was a disappointing stay. Not sure I'd stay here again.
