Legacy Hotel at IMG Academy

We were at Legacy due to the hurricane Helene. We were working on our family home. Everyone we met there was kind and gracious. All amenities were amazing. The food and drinks were great too.

Perfect if you’re kids are attending at IMG academy for the summer

An amazing place for the family to spend the weekend. Especially for a stressful event like the state championship.

Thought for a 4-star property the rooms would be a bit nicer. Our shower was pretty beat up and needed new caulking and a good deep clean. Bed was not that comfortable and was loud which I guess we should have expected since there are kids everywhere.

The 3 bedroom villa we were in was nothing like the pictures or what we paid for. Booked a 3 bedroom villa which shows online a king size bed in the master. It was two separate queens that were not comfortable at all. AC would not cool under 77 degrees. They did send a maintenance guy out and he said it was an older unit that needed to be charged but they were so busy they kept renting it out without fixing it so they are aware of this yet only care about filling the villas and not concerned about the comfort of the families staying there. Fans in rooms were not helpful at all as on high was super low. Lights didn’t work in some rooms and bathroom fans did not work in the master bedroom. Screens on back patio were all ripped and patio was full of the huge 3-4” grasshoppers and mosquitoes which with the current malaria outbreak in Bradenton did not sit well with us. Overall the IMG campus was beautiful but the villa we were in was outright disgusting and after paying almost $1400 for 2 nights we were not happy. The lady at check out was very nice and gave us a $200 credit but spending almost $1200 to sleep in a 77 degree villa at almost $600 a night is flat out unacceptable and only a $200 credit was somewhat of a slap in the face. Highly disappointed in our stay

Very convenient for families attending IMG academy. I stayed with my two kids and we had a good time, they have a nice pool and staff is very attentive and friendly.

Great fun things for the camp kids to do before and after they check in - food in the restaurant is very good

Stayed in the 4-bedroom villa with friends and family for a U17 baseball tournament. The villa was a little dated but honestly the best decision we made to stay on property. We all had plenty of space, rooms were big, each had bathroom. AC was awesome (in that hot Florida sun all day). Laundry room was perfect for our team uniforms. Secure and we got to walk over to fields each day and rest in between games. Thank you!

The location is very convenient, but not sure that solely is enough to stay at this property again, The hotel was extremely noisy, only provided two bath towels for two people staying three nights and trying to track down housekeeping was impossible. There was no microwave provided and when you are traveling with kids, this is an important accommodation to have included in the hotel room or even provide one in the lobby area would be a compromise.
