Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Arcadia, an IHG Hotel

We came down for a family visit

The property is great and my family enjoyed. The only suggestion we have is to have a tub mat to avoid accidents since the tub was a bit slippery. Either than that we would come back! :)

All of the hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating to our family of 20+ while we were in town for a wedding!

I reserved a room for four travelers that had 2 queen beds through your app which did show it was available to reserve. I did the reservation approx 4/4 hours before we actually arrived, which was just before midnight. When I entered to check in, the woman at the front desk had informed me my room had been changed due to no double queen’s available… I should have been notified and was not. The front desk woman had at least 3 children under the age of 11, the youngest being about 1 running around behind the counter, she had to step away from helping me several times to chase them and yell at them to stay in the back … extremely unprofessional. I asked prior to going to my room if I needed extra linens and pillows for the pull Our couch, she told me there was some up there already .. there wasn’t. I called down and she told us we would then have to return to the front to get them where she was still chasing her children around the front check in area. Our toilet ran and leaked, the shower kept backing up while we were showering. The hallway smelled like puke upon getting off the elevator… very unsatisfied with this hotel, not to mention I was not issued a refund of any kind for the room being changed without my knowledge … I absolutely love holiday inn and always look for their locations to stop at when we take road trips , corporate needs to get more involved with this location because it’s needs help.
