Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel

It was nice! We had a beach front view and it was beautiful. The room was spacious and the fridge freezer came in handy along with the mini counter burner. Parking was included and came in handy. The beach wasn’t that crowded and was overall in a pretty good location. My family and I had a good time and had a lot of space! I do wish the room came with more toiletries

We had a fantastic time. The parking was obnoxious-none at the hotel. Had to wait for someone to leave in other lot, then we were afraid to leave. Other than that, everything was great. Loved the location! Worth it for that. The room was clean and larger than expected. Would be great for longer stays with the kitchenette. Staff was very friendly. Pool was really small-one family took up most of it but we had the beach so we didn’t care. Gas grill and a cute “lounge” with tv and decently priced vending machines available for use were a nice amenity. Walking distance to basically anything you need in Dewey.

Loved that it is sound proofed!! We came with a baby and it was so nice to not worry about her crying in the night and disturbing others. Also great that there were the basics(plates, silverware, pans) available for cooking and eating. Such a nice stay.:)

My family loved this hotel. Clean and comfortable! The only thing I would say is I wish the stair case would have been more bigger.

Great stay with the family for New Years Eve. Stayed at this hotel a few times now and it never disappoints

My family and I have always taken an annual trip to this area. We did not for a couple years during Covid but are back now. This is our first time staying here and will, without a doubt be back! The downfalls (which were few and not enough to ‘ruin’ our stay), parking is a bit of a pain, you have a spot but where is the question when you arrive back. The bed was not very comfortable and the bathroom fan did not work. All very inconsequential items compared to the location, the service, the view, and the other amenities. Full size fridge, small pool area with lounge patio. The front desk was informative and welcoming. It was a fantastic stay! We loved that it wasn’t a party hotel and was quiet at night. Located close to bars if you wanted to have a “night out”. Nested right between Bethany and Reho beaches. All around a great stay, can’t wait to come back!

The property was perfectly situated for enjoying the beach. We had an oceanview room making it that much better. The pool allowed for breaks from the beach and continued fun for the kids. The patio was perfect for lunch and winding down with the kids. Everything was within walking distance or biking distance that we wanted to do, even the Rehoboth Boardwalk. The staff were phenomenal and willing to go above and beyond. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette is an added bonus that helped make more time for the beach because we could make breakfast or lunch. Thank you for providing such a great experience!

Our experience at the Surf Club Hotel started off great! We got there about 1 PM and were able to park at the hotel and go to the beach until our room was ready. We were lucky to get to our room sooner than 4PM.-AWESOME! The next day we went to the beach and returned to our rooms and found they were not cleaned that day, not even new, clean towels. I called down to the office and they brought new towels up for us right away- the service was great overall--- But--When I asked why our room was not cleaned, I was told they get cleaned every 3 days unless we ask by 12PM for the maid service to clean the rooms. This was not told to me at check in when it should have been for accurate expectations of the staff. ( for nearly $500/night hotel stay I would expect our rooms to be cleaned daily) Also there were no outdoor showers to rinse off sand from myself, toddler and baby therefore we dragged sand into our room/shower which added to the headache of no clean towels because I was using them to clean the floors.

It was clean, comfortable and right on the beach. Can walk to restaurants and shops. Had an amazing time there with my family.

It’s perfect for a family! Having the large fridge and breakfast area makes it so easy with the kids! Plus a great view location & pool!
