Avon Old Farms Hotel

Always stayed here when visiting family for Christmas always enjoyed the bar to wind down on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day opened to 11pm. This year bar wasn’t opened and really disappointed in that. But everything else was perfect as always and buffet was great. I will stay again next Christmas or when family event. Missed the bar setting hopefully they will be open again next Christmas and Christmas Eve. Allot of people enjoyed the bar at this hotel bar tenders were always great! It brought great spirits for Christmas.

My husband and I stay on this property often to visit family. It is a very convenient and safe place to stay but we were very disappointed in the noise due to several weddings that ran into the 2am and on. The place needs an overhaul in terms of updates and being from the area the decor is from the 1980’s which is charming but my sink handle flew off and it’s just plain old. When I pleasantly said the noise went on until late hours they explain there wedding venue and basically if you come on the weekends that’s the situation and honestly that’s probably where the money is. It’s a really nice venue!! The breakfast is the best and heads and tails above what the surrounding hotels are doing, I’ll use this hotel again and I’ll try to avoid weekends. I do think it worth mentioning the noise and dated rooms.

We visit family in the area and Avon Old Farms is our first choice. The most polite and accommodating staff, clean and comfortable.

Hotel was wonderful as was the staff and grounds. But on last night kids were running up and down the halls and crashed into the walls. Security a little lax.

Pool, rooms, area were all perfect and clean. Nice locker room area by the pool made it very convenient with kids. On site restaurant was amazing
