Days Inn by Wyndham Manitou Springs

We arrived in the evening because we drove down from a Rockies game. When we walked in, two gentlemen were checking in and the receptionist started asking us from behind the customer they were helping if we had a reservation. We said yes, and he said, I have no more arrivals today, and asked us to double check. We did and could confirm it. When he was done helping the two guys he again said he only had a king room left- we booked 2 doubles for our family of 4. I finally had to suggest that he look it up by name of which then he said someone had checked in under our name. We showed a pending cc charge. Come to find out, he had some how given the two guys before us our room. Then the two guys came back and said, we actually have rooms across the road, they can have their room back. Ummm...so they guy gave us keys for the room they just had. Didn't check to see if it was still clean (it was) and offered to give us a $10.00 discount. WHAT!! You about didn't give us a room at all and now we get 10.00 off. So disappointed. Would not stay here again.

I was disappointed I had read all the reviews and thought it would be a good place for my family and I. The bathroom had mold and pealing wall paper in it. The hot tub was dirty. The game room was located right above our room and it was so loud. Make sure you don’t get room 112.

The room was clean and very accommodating with two queen beds. The beds were very comfortable. The one drawback was we were placed directly under the game room even after I directly told the counter we were traveling 10 hours the next day and leaving at 4am. We would be needing directions for early for checkout. The Game Room as expected was full of in attended unsupervised children under the age of 18 running and jumping; causing our early night sleep to be not so early.

The staff was fantastic and very nice the kids enjoyed the pool. The only issue we had we had to get the room key reprogrammed every time we can back to the room. The breakfast was watery eggs potatoes were kind of raw and sausage was cook that well.

Stuff was very friendly and helped me with anything that I needed. Me and my family will be returning 🙂

The first room we were put in had not been cleaned. We were promptly relocated, but the pool & spa seemed to be in the same condition. The kids had fun swimming but adults opted to stay out of the water. lol.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was easy check in and out. The rooms are large and the bathroom is spacious. The beds are a little harder than we would like. The housekeeper was extremely rude and not friendly-not once did she address us when we walked by nor tell us good morning. She always had a scowl on her face and when asked for a trash bag or exchange towels, there was alot of unnecessary attitude. The food was not very good-"fresh" eggs and sausage- so we only ate the food once. There was fresh fruit, coffee, apple juice, water, cereals and a waffle maker with syrup.

Traveled with family, the room was a really good size. Staff was helpful and friendly. I was very happy with how clean the room was.

Excellent location to visit Garden of the gods and Pike’s Peak! Quiet and clean with comfortable beds. Recommend for families!
