Comfort Suites Near Denver Downtown

Last minute family weekend trip took us to stay at this hotel. Most of the hotels on the area were sold out due to a concert nearby. Ended up paying over 500 for 2 nights, the front desk service wasn’t friendly at all, the hotel overall needs better maintenance, the rooms wasn’t clean. The intersection where the hotel ots located its very loud. The breakfast area its too small for the size of the hotel and pleoplenwas waiting in line for more thatn 10 minutes to get waffles. At least we saw the police come to the hotel 3 times during our 2 days stay. Would not recommend this place at all.

The only thing that we didn’t like was they have to write on a paper how many people are going to eat in the morning. We had family and we don’t wake up at the same time but the requirement was to all going to the complementary breakfast at the same time. And when we did go down all the tables were taken. So we didn’t get to eat.

MOLD! I had a regular room and there was pink mold and black mold in the shower and in crevices in the bathroom. Then I went to a family member’s room on the 4th floor where they had a jacuzzi suite and there was awful mold all over the bathroom, between every single tile, all around the tub, horrid black mold caked in the shower. I’ve never seen a hotel with this level of mold and I lived in Florida for many years where mold is a beast. Otherwise, the front desk staff was fantastic and breakfast was hot and stocked.

We got married in Wheat Ridge and we stayed here along with most of our family that were visiting from out of town. The hotel is very standard, if not slightly run-down. But the price and location were convenient to our venue. We booked the suite with the jet tub. Our room was spacious and the tub was nice, but the shower was full of mold. The blackout curtains on our window didn't close, so it was extremely bright in our room first thing in the morning. The biggest issue is that one of the members of our group had their car stolen out of the hotel parking lot the night that we stayed there. He was parked directly out front of the hotel, in a visible and well lit location. There is no security whatsoever. The hotel staff even reviewed the footage and informed him that it took the thief over an hour to get into the car. For a full hour someone was in the parking lot clearly attempting to break into the car and no one from the hotel noticed. We will not be staying here again or recommending this hotel to anyone. The lack of security and awareness is astounding. To say that this experience put a damper on our wedding celebration is an understatement.

We arrived late friday evening and checked in, the lady at the front desk gave us the incorrect room number which resulted in her double booking the room. We had someone walk into the room as we were trying to sleep. We were very scared as we had pur 3 children with us. I walked back down to the front desk, where the same lady treated me poorly as if it were my fault that she made a mistake and said she wasnt the one to that checked me in... i explained that she was the one that gave me the keys to what we thought was our room, but she had very poor service. Im sad i didnt catch her name. She let us stay in the incorrect room and checked the other guest into what should have been my room. She made no correction in her system though, so the next day when we were out, they removed everything from our room without our knowledge thinking we checked out on saturday. We were there till Sunday.. Thankfully a new staff member was able to correct it and we finished out our stay until sunday morning. But needless to stay, we will not be coming back to that hotel.

Horrible Experience. Sex Workers at the door at 11.30 pm at night. The worst breakfast ever. Looked like a zoo. Not recommended for families and folks staying with children.

The room was dirty. Bedding had stains and dirtin them. Bedding did not smell clean. Floor was filthy, with dirty sock next to bed, blaclout curtains wouldn't close so had to see traffic lights all night. Ice bucket was filthy dirty, had to wash it before using it. I asked for a full refund but was told a manager would have to deal with that, but wouldn't call her. The neighborhood was very sketchy and i was concerned about my vehicle. Major safety issue was the upper safety lock on room door was broken off, i had a toddler with me so i was worried all night about our safety.

EMPLOYEES STEAL! I accidentally left my wedding ring and another diamond band on the bathroom counter. I called a few hours later hoping the employees there were decent people. I know exactly where I left them and talked to a manager Chris. He did nothing about it. We reserved this room last minute for a family getaway. The carpet was sticky and the room smelled weird/like smoke. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

Stayed in hotel room with family less than 24hours. Room was not fully cleaned and they charged us damage fee. Never got an explination on that. We are devistated because financially that hurt us. We left the room cleaner than it was when we came in; i even stripped the beds so it was esy for the maids to come and got a big garnage bag from dront desk to pick up our room..... in i myself clean for a living. Really upset about the customer service more than anything. We were robbed of our secuirty deposit.

The staff were really great. The hotel needs some serious maintenance and updating. I witnessed a full out brawl with swearing going on at the breakfast area with my small kids. If I were staying here without other friends, I would not have felt safe. The overall feel is just dirty & old. The pool hours were incorrectly posted, a staff member had to get management to help escort some unwanted guests off the property. This is not a family friendly place!
