Our reservation was changed to a junior suite…. Which was fine but the pull out couch had no sheets or pillows. Called for it once and was told would be right up. Left for a couple hours and came back to no sheets (now bed time). When we called this time, they were brought up immediately. We did need some toiletries that were forgotten and they could not accomodate:: disappointing for a hotel of this caliber.

My new favorite hotel in Denver. We travel a lot for kids sports. Stay in Denver hotels a lot even though we live in the area because Denver traffic is so unpredictable. This hotel is excellent. Staff at check in was so great and accommodating. They didn’t have the room type we reserved so they gave us an excellent upgrade that I will definitely just reserve next time. The room is lovely. Beds are comfortable. Shockingly quiet considering we’re 2 blocks from DCPA and the convention center. Will stay here again!

The hotel is very pretty and unique on main floor and outside. Inside rooms are pretty dated and awkward--shower door hit toilet and wouldn't open fully outward. Rooms are DARK. The staff was wonderful each time we interacted with them, but there was a weird power outage of the entire building on our first day--unsure why this would even be a thing to schedule, ever? The lounge area was amazing with games to play when waiting for dinner reservations. The restaurant service was incredibly slow and overpriced. We went for breakfast and dinner but didn't even use up all of our "meal tickets" because it just wasn't worth it, I would suggest to go literally anywhere else. The pillows were completely flat feather pillows so bring your own if pillows are important to you. We asked for rooms together as a family of four, were placed about as far as you could possibly get from one another. Windows on 2nd floor were frosted over so no view, but worse was the gaping hole from the door to the outside letting cold air in all the time, and it smelled like BO in our room no matter what we did. The toiletries in the shower were rancid--not sure if they were just old or had been tampered with but the bottles looked rough shape and the shampoo literally smelled like Nair hair remover. Our older teens' room was better situated and seemed nicer, they at least could see out a window. Overall, it was an okay stay--the staff made up for some of the shortcomings.

If you are looking for an intimate, romantic hotel, then Hotel Teatro is the right choice. It is a small, boutique style hotel with alot of charm and perfect for a weekend without the kids. My husband and I stayed here to celebrate my birthday weekend, and the staff at Hotel Teatro made it SOOO special! We arrived really early morning, took the train from the airport to Union Station, and the hotel picked us up there and allowed us to store our luggage while we grabbed food and waited for our room. Matthew and another member of the staff serenaded me on my birthday and gave me a special treat as well. I especially loved the games in the lobby and the water a coffee as well. Concierge service was available on a 1st come 1st served basis and will take you within 3 miles of the hotel. We ate at the Nickel for Saturday brunch before we left. Breakfast was not included but the daily meal credit helped defer cost. While most would look for a pool and spa, the large soaker tub (not in all rooms), the view, beautiful room, and proximity to food and entertainment made up for it. Also, it is located steps away from the 4 Seasons Hotel and Spa. So, you could easily book an appointment. I will say, the A/C was a BIG issue (it was being redone), but I was pleased with how efficiently staff went out of their way to handle it! Also there are no microwaves in the rooms, but they were glad to heat food up downstairs. I hated to leave and can’t wait to get back soon!

We had a lovely stay and can’t recommend this hotel and it’s staff highly enough! The front desk staff went above and beyond and were all round friendly and lovely to deal with. The location is great and it has a great on site restaurant/bar. Overall value was fantastic, we booked the junior suite so our toddler could sleep and we could still watch tv and utilize the second bathroom. Thank you hotel Teatro!

Great room, lovely hotel. Room was fantastic, quiet, clean, spacious. The bed was fantastic, we slept like babies. The restaurant was excellent, if a little niche-having a protein with the pancakes would have been better. Overall, great hotel, friendly staff, we’ll stay again.

Just not what I was expecting! After seeing all the pictures on Expedia I was so excited to spend my very rare night away from my children in an awesome bathtub and beautiful shower, but to my surprise that was not the room I checked into. It was decent but definitely not what I was expecting at all!! I honestly wish I would have chose a different hotel! And the bartender was rude as well, just expected more from this hotel after reading all the great reviews!

My husband and I took a long weekend trip to Denver with friends and stayed at Hotel Teatro. We could not stop talking about the amazing service provided by all the staff at the hotel and the Nickel restaurant. They treated us like VIPs. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

First time visit to this hotel, and on a family trip to the mountains with a short stay in Denver for a business meeting. Since this was during COVID, we were one of the few guests in the hotel. It was clear that the hotel staff was cut-back, and the restaurant was closed during our visit (but was open part of the week). Nevertheless, our stay was fantastic. The staff and managers were beyond helpful and nice. The food from room service was very good. And the rooms themselves were very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
