Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk

It was a well maintained hotel. The casino floor is quite large and the poker room also had quite a few tables. The pool was closed for kids from 6 pm which is not fair for guests below 21. I expected a Sauna which I didn't find.

If you have kids don’t stay here it is not kid friendly at all and I do mean at all the pool for kids closes at 6 and by 9pm they have to either be in the restaurant or in the rooms if you have to go eat make sure your in the restaurant by 9 or they will tell you to turn around and take your kids off the floor they can’t even pass to go eat

The resort is beautiful and everything is super clean and comfortable from the sitting in the room the beds and bedding is so comfortable the showers were on the colder side and not super hot like i like there was no bathtub in our room witch would have been a nice option. The pool hours were not like the other hotel ameristar they close the pool at ten for adult it should have been at least 11 pm or 12 am would be nice the pool hours are weird for children so FYI i would ask about pool hours if you are bringing children one of jets was broken in one of the hot tubes the hot tube one was colder then the other the one outside on the roof was fun the poll was clean.

I booked this stay for the amenities, mainly the spa and rooftop hot tub but when i got there, it was lightly snowing and the hot tub was closed due to a light snow storm. I was shocked as multiple friends of mine have enjoyed the hot tub while it was snowing and they all recommended it. The roofing bar was also closed so there was nowhere to enjoy the awesome views, except for the indoor pool area that was swarming with small children. I also was not notified until i arrived that the spa amenities are only available Monday thru Thursday, unless you book a massage or facial, which was not possible because everything was booked up. I payed almost $700 just for 2 nights and didn't get to enjoy any of the main attractions for this property. I do not recommended this property.

Our room was wonderful and quiet. Loved the pool area but couldn’t use due to a child going to the bathroom in the pool. Wish there was more assistance in checking in. I won’t use the kiosk next time. I don’t like the elevator set up, all computerized and difficult to use. The plus is it helps with security. Overall very nice but over priced.

Best Hotel in Black Hawk not only for sport and game but also for family with children. Pool, Hot-Tub always tip top. Dining options are very good, from high quality to taste. Staff are very friendly, polite and helpfull.

My son was not able to chexk in till 6:30 pm he has brain injury so right in thought something was wrong i book it for him to get away friends and thier family he is not able to drive so when invited thung should be kittle more easy-to-use i told him when keft you will not be check in till 3pm so when able check in till 6:30 pm not happy

We arrived with two children and two times we were observed we can not go to the restaurant with them. We had been in Las Vegas many times, and there is always a way to take breakfast, lunch or dinner with children. You have to review the way to respect the law and provide an option to have children in the hotel, and if it is no possible, you have to announce it in your portal. Also I have to say that the personnel at the restaurant was very gentle and helpful.

The Monarch has beautiful rooms! And the Spa at Monarch is BREATH TAKING ( the best spa experience yet) I will recommend the Monarch Casino and Spa to all of my family and friends. THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING STAY

The hotel/casino security were extremely rude and not kid friendly at all. We got yelled at basically for walking in while we were trying to figure out where to check in because we had our 10 and 12 year old with us in the casino just walking through. The hotel staff was amazing, the hotel was clean and beautiful. Another bummer is that the pool closed for kids at 6pm which is when we arrived.
