Best Western Woodland Hills Inn

Attended a family party. We just stayed one night. The two young ladies in reception were very friendly and helpful. The room is what you’d expect for this level of motel. Clean, desk to work at if needed, a small sofa. The bed was okay. A bit soft for my taste but that’s totally subjective. The downside: The pillows were horrible. Small and just not comfortable at all. Annoyingly, the tv had closed caption on that we couldn’t turn off. There was nothing on the remote to turn it off. Lastly, we were staying in the front of the motel on the first floor. I needed ice didn’t see it anywhere so I asked in reception where the ice was and was told in the back building. Walked around and saw nothing so I went up to the second floor. No signage anywhere but I turned a corner and through a glass door I saw the ice machine only to find out you need a room key. What? Had to walk all the way back to our room for a room key. Minor stuff yes but enough not to give a higher rating.

Stayed for a night with my family, room was nice and clean. perfect for quick trips

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was… ok at best. Safety wise, just because they have cameras in the area doesn’t mean it’s safe. There was a dude that was shot in the room next to mine. I have my wife and kids with me, the last thing we need is a stray bullet hitting one of us while on vacation.

We were in town for a family memorial and had driven 6 hours and had a couple of hours before the event. The front desk was very accommodating and found a room ready and allowed us early check-in. We needed a quick rest and were very grateful for their help.

This is our first time in this hotel and we’re so impressed. Ida a very nice lady at the front desk is very helpful, kind, fast, and smart. I’m a neat freak so cleanliness is my top priority especially since I always travel with my family. The hotel is in a quiet & safe location. Across the street is grocery & restaurants. Very affordable price free intercontinental breakfast & free parking in La no one can beat their price. We will recommend this place to friends & family. This is going to be our go-to hotel every time we’re here in La.

I didn’t like anything about this property.on their website they have free parking but if go late at night there’s no parking. It happened to my wife and a child three in morning.

We ended up at this property due to an error on the part of Expedia. It is a decent hotel for an overnight stay. The rooms are small and the hotel has not been updated in a while, but the beds were comfortable. The staff at this hotel is friendly and AMAZING, from the front desk to the ladies who put together the breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was above expectation and satisfied our family of 11. My only complaint is I found hair in the tub and in my washcloth. This is always disappointing and makes me question the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

This hotel worked for my husband and I while in town for an early family Thanksgiving celebration. The hotel was newly remodeled, clean and a friendly staff. My only complaint would be....when we checked in we were told that we may not be able to park at the hotel at 10pm as parking is limited. The alternative would be to park across the street and I believe there was a charge involved. We were fortunate, however, and were able to park onsite. The lobby coffee in the morning was excellent, did not eat their breakfast.

Front Desk Staff polite & helpful. The additional $20 "incidentals" charge (not included in Expedia pricing) required at check in was a minus. Property was well kept & felt "safe". Room was clean but starting to look a little tired. Beds very comfortable. Continental breakfast was well stocked w/good variety & helpful staff in attendance--kindly offering assistance to my elderly mother. Will stay here again when visiting family in the area.
