The room was clean and fresh feeling, and our kids loved the pool! Breakfast had great options including bacon and eggs, though the eggs weren't great, but everything else was! It's hard to find a decent, included continental breakfast and this one was nice.

3 nights in a 1 bed “suite” whilst visiting family and the area. The location was convenient for us. We wanted more than a room to give us some space to “be”. Good self serve breakfast. And we sat out in the outdoor area to eat a self-created snack meal. Very much just on the side of a highway as is the case with most of the hotels in the US, but felt safe. Close to grocery stores and could walk to Capitola beach.

Absolutely perfect. Clean, quiet, in an attractive, safe area. The property, amenities and room are excellent with safe, free parking. The staff is fantastic: friendly, professional, accommodating. The complimentary breakfast options are amazing: fruit, hot/cold cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon, waffles! And more! I was visiting family in Santa Cruz and have stayed at other places closer to the beach and boardwalk, but that area can be sketchy and the accommodations are hit or miss. It's worth it to spend the extra 10 minutes driving and maybe a few dollars more to have a great experience at this safe, lovely, first-rate hotel.

This was my second stay at this propert. My whole family was in Santa Cruz for a Memorial Service this weekend. The staff at this hotel could not have been more welcoming and accommodating... Even giving us adjoining rooms ( and we had not thought to request this at booking). I especially appreciate the hard flooring and all washable bedding. The rooms are quite spacious with updated, useful furnishings.

The hotel was perfect for my needs. The breakfast, the family suite, the water bottle filling station. Electric car charging. In a good area. Surrounded by restaurants, movie theatre, mall, and target. Staff was amazing. Honestly couldn’t have picked a better place to stay!

Super noisy guests down the hall as well as in the room above me. Sounded like someone was running back and forth above me from 9-11pm and then started right back up at 6-7am. Crazy. Family down the hall kept their room door cracked as family members came and went. Challenge was they had a cute, but very loud toddler hollering down the hall incessantly. Tried to change rooms at 9pm because I’d had it but apparently the hotel was sold out. :( All in all a big bummer.

I stayed with my family for two nights (July 18 &19). The first night the room they gave us smelled so bad and the bad sheets were not clean. We already arrived late from a long drive so we just went to bed. But did not get a good sleep as the bed sheets on both beds smailed so bad. We paid $271.73 per night including tax (total $543.46) and the room is not worth that much.
