Hyatt Centric Mountain View

We stay here when visiting our Son's family in Los Altos and have found it to be a very nice property with professional & helpful staff... conceptually we really like it. This visit was a disappointment in that the room was too cold... we turned up the thermostat to 77, but the room did not warm enough. We call for assistance and a maintenance person came up and showed me that we needed to turn up the fan/blower... he did and left. The room didn't warm any better. There is clearly a problem with the overall system... in the hallway immediately outside of our room, it felt about 10 degrees warmer than in our room. We love this hotel, but will not be able to stay there going forward if the climate control malfunction is not corrected.

It was amazing - this was my second time - location great easy access and close to almost anything you may need during your stay - also where my family and friends live so I always choose this hotel !

We will be staying here the next time we visit our family. The location is great with the cute dog park next door. Walking to shopping is great. Easy access to freeways. We just loved it.

Staff is very friendly and the room is very nice! Our toddler loved staying here snd will stay here again.

Hyatt Centric is our go to hotel when visiting Palo Alto area, for work or personal travel, which is at least once a month. The hotel is great in all respects. Unfortunately on this last visit, the housekeeping was not the best, short on toiletries and very late in the day. Staff walked in on our daughter who was taking a nap and continued to clean until asked to come back later. Also unfortunate, there was a child next door who kept banging on the walls and their parents let them stomp around and scream at all hours. Staff was great in offering to move us but it was way too much hassle to pack and repack. Will continue to come back, however.

Nice, clean, modern hotel. I wish I could have stayed longer. I love that the hotel rooms have wood floors instead of carpet which is great for someone like me with dust allergies. The kids loved the hotel too. I would return again.

I needed to stay in the area due to the hospitalization of a family member at Stanford. This was a good place to stay as in good proximity to Stanford. Very clean, comfortable and current. A good restaurant with good food and service. Located directly in a shopping area with lots of restaurants just out the door. The hotel can be a little tricky to spot. Parking is across a narrow street and not adjacent to the hotel. Not a big issue just not the usual parking situation.
