Promising. Beautiful hotel and property, but lacking in amenities. Only reason to justify the price is you get a one bedroom suite, which was great for having small kids. Property is beautiful, but that’s about it. You get a patio facing a parking lot or parking lot/highway.
We had no towels in room upon arrival and didn’t realize until we need to get ready for dinner. Called 3 times to get towels and finally arrived 1 hour later by front desk. Housekeeping was no where to be found.
There is no pool service. Although they said there was weekends after 3, but never saw anyone.
The pool was pack and they have 2 cabanas. However, you have to book the cabana through resort pass, not for hotel guests and no priority to guest. Inviting more people on the property for already small space. We did this bc we wanted a spot. The cabana for some reason is on compacted dirt, not pool deck, so your feet are dirty and gritty the whole time.
We also had only one roll of toilet paper and were missing our do not disturb signs all of which took a long time to receive.
It’s $30 to self park every night. Given the price of the room I expected more, but no one even helped us with our bags.

This property is stunning. What a nice oasis and larger than you would expect from pulling in. The only thing that was annoying is they charge you for parking despite being a "pull up to your room and park yourself" type of place.
Our room had a bedroom and common room with a pull out couch which my kids slept on and said was reasonably comfortable.

Favorite place to stay, especially when bringing family along. 4 people in the suite is perfect. Breakfast is convenient and the grounds and area very homelike and pleasant. Stay here while visiting daughter in college but also for weekend getaways.

Spacious rooms and very nice lobby. Hotel serves a hot breakfast (fast cooks) and happy hour (bartender was a very pleasant lady). Only big drawback is the small bathrooms. We rented a 2 bed suite. Given the room rate, the tub, showers, fixtures, basin, etc all need to be updated & enlarged. I’m a hotel owner myself & stayed at the Pacifica with my family & our dog. Very pet friendly!

I love this hotel. The family and I did a road trip, staying in 4 hotels and this was our favorite. The whole hotel is immaculate, the staff is very friendly, excellent breakfast, awesome pool. I'd recommend it to anybody- it's very close to UCSB

This hotel sits on an amazing piece of land. Very serene and lots of areas to relax and enjoy the setting. My callouts are surrounding the restaurant and bar. It's closed between 11am and 5pm which isn't ideal if you're on a staycation. We also had issues with our shower. The water was scolding hot. I would also advise that you get a room on the top floor if you don't want to be bothered by your neighbors. I had a family with kids above me and I had to listen to them run around in circles from 8am... Not fun!

nice independent hotel near ucsb...the historical photos of the original house on family property are interesting, too...good breakfast, clean rooms, near ucsb, which is basically what we look for in a hotel in Santa Barbara

We have stayed at this property several times over the past 4 years for kids sporting events and tournaments. Breakfast is my favorite part of the property. Made to order meals and hot coffee is always ready. Will return again.
