Hotel Santa Barbara

We stayed 2 nights because this hotel is a short walk from another hotel where others in our family were staying. The Santa Barbara was half the price, and we found it more quaint and the staff was friendly and helpful. As a bonus, shopping restaurants and bars are just outside the building. Complimentary coffee and warm cookies in the lobby too!

This was the best hotel all around! Friendly staff, no charge for our family dog which is really unusual and they provided a dog bed and water bowl! Room was very clean and we slept like a baby!

This was a horrible experience! We stayed for labor day weekend. When we got to the room, we had sewer water in our bathroom sink. When we called the front desk to complain, the receptionist was very dismissive. We had to call back to see if anyone was going to come to the room and help. When we called back she told me that it wasn't her job and it was house keeping job. At this point I became very frustrated and I ask if anyone will come and clean or if we can have a different room. She she again, it wasn't her job, and that if we didn't like it we can leave. I told her how can she say that to us, on a holiday weekend at 11 pm at night. Where were we supposed to go? she stayed quiet and said nothing. This unhelpful person name is Calista. Finally, Alex whom we thought was the security guard, since we saw him in the parking, came and cleaned our sink. He apologized for the problem and said that he was embarrassed for the condition of the room and the receptionist behavior. My family was in the lobby, and they heard Calista speak very ill about me and our situation. Please train your staff better and know how to deal with unforseen situations. Instead of having someone with a dismissive attitude with zero customer service. I was stuck staying there that night, but I will never be back there again

Great place to stay. Conveniently located. It's definitely not the cheapest place to stay in SB but we had a wonderful visit with family.

Overall, nice hotel. Room was unimpressive for a boutique hotel. The bed was supposed to be a queen, but it was definitely a double size. The room was rather bare bones, especially for a junior suite.
