Hilton Garden Inn Lompoc

Does not feel safe outside at night. Worried about our traveling car filled with family gear all night. So many homeless lurking around the parking lot and building. Hotel keeps its front doors locked at night because of it’s such a problem. Sad this is what you get for nearly $300 a night. Basic motel rooms and amenities.

Room in excellent condition. The building was full of kids, unless those parents kept them unusually quiet, we didn’t hear a thing! Welcoming staff. Nice restaurant. This was by far the best room we’ve stayed in. I just wish hotels believed in firmer pillows. But everything else was perfect.

We have family that lives in Lompoc, so we generally stay a couple times a year at the least. We generally stay at other hotels in the area but decided to take a chance on this newer hotel, solely based on the great reviews. I would say for this area/city we were pleasantly surprised that it surpassed our expectations, and we will book with no hesitation in the future. The staff, facility and location were all top notch and very clean! The only thing I would say is that it would be nice to have a complimentary breakfast, but that is really a minor complaint.

The manager was very kind! The room was spacious, which was good for a family. The problem with this hotel, is that you can not open the Windows, therefore it is neither allergy nor enviroment friendly. Besides, I wonder how clean the air conditioning system is and how many germs are in a room that never gets fresh air. This made my stay terrible! So the hotels have the safety argument! How many people is really intending to kill themselves? We guests might die slowly anyway due to poor air quality!!!

My family of 4 stayed in this hotel on the last night of the road trip. We also stayed at Hilton hotels in previous nights. This is by far the worst of all. At check in, we were informed that there won’t be a dine in option for breakfast instead every person will be given a breakfast bag. The breakfast bag contains cold food only (2 boiled egg, muffin, yogurt and milk). They said dine in breakfast is only available on Monday to Friday but not on weekend. My wife was extremely disappointed with the breakfast issue and believes they should have informed as a few days prior our arrival. I also asked if the pool was heated at check in. They said yes. But when my daughter and I arrived to the pool, the heated feature is out of order. The main pool is too cold for anyone to swim. My daughter was disappointed that the water temperature is too cold. The room does not have a central air conditioning instead the AC is on the floor. It looks exactly the kind of AC from Motel6. The AC is very loud whenever the compressor turns on. None of us could get a good night sleep and frequently were woke up by the AC noice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and the hotel did not meet my expectation as a Hilton brand. I will never return to this hotel again.

This is our second stay at this hotel, and we enjoyed it as much as the first. It’s a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. Staff is friendly and you always see them working to maintain the property. I now rate other hotels against this one as it is a favorite of our family.

We had rooms booked Friday- Sunday for a family wedding, booked 2 rooms We took advantage of the breakfast and the coupon for comp meal (not so comp since I paid extra) but when we showed our voucher to the hostess it was as if we were going to steal food. The hostess was unpleasant and should not be the first mad face you see early in the am. It was not a good start to my day. The food was really good & generous and our server was very nice and attentive.
