Hilton Garden Inn San Mateo

Our stay was flawless from start to finish. The customer service agent who checked us in was friendly and professional. He was very respectful of our service dog. We loved the snack shop downstairs. The breakfast manager was extremely friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had great options. We opted to just pay the 9$/kid and us adults just had leftovers from dinner and free coffee because 24/person for adults was more than we wanted since we weren't very hungry. Lastly, when we were a little slow in the morning they granted us a late check-out with no charge and no hassle. Even though they were doing renovations it didn't really affect our stay and overall the hotel was very quiet. We did not try the pool, I'm not sure if it was heated or not.

Our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The breakfast was impressive with an omelette station and waffle bar! The pull out was pretty uncomfortable for the kids so next time I'll be getting the room with doubles instead of the king suite. It was really perfect otherwise. I've stayed at most hotels in the area and this is where I will stay next time! Can't wait to see it get even better after the renovation

This is my favorite place to stay when visiting my family in San Mateo. The staff I just adore them all. They really make your stay so pleasant . I love the fact there's a guest laundry room, mo one likes traveling back home with dirty laundry. This is truly my home away from home.

Everything was clean, modern, updated, nice and fit our family needs. Only comment is that breakfast should be included like many hotels of this level.
