Great location as you are literally two blocks from the main drag. The service was the best I have had in a long time and offered some great dining suggestions. They put us in room 210 right on the corner, with great views, when the fog wasn't blocking everything. The only issues we had was that the bed seemed a little hard and the TV had issues working because of the satellite and fog. Reached out to the hotel and they offered to change our rooms. Then, after my wife pointed out what a big baby I was being wanting to choose TV over a good view, I shut up and stayed in 210.

Morro Bay was the last stop on an incredible road trip with me, two other adults and 3 kiddos. We booked a stay at another place and all agreed that it was too dingy and shabby for the price and were so bummed until we found The Landing. Its location can’t be beat, the room was gorgeous, updated and accommodated our huge group super comfortably. We all slept incredibly well and could not stop singing the praises of this wonderful motel. This one will be bookmarked!!

Perfect room for a short 1 night stay. Enough space for 2 adults 3 kids . Super close to the beach front, plenty of parking. Only bummer was that the people next door where super loud till late into the night but that’s not the hotels fault!

We had a great stay. Little family getaway for spring break. Our room was spacious, cozy and clean. Staff was always on hand except night's, but they were very informative as to how to contact somebody if need be.

I loved my room but the rest of my family did not share the same point of view. They complained about the faucet to be plugged for one room, the toilet did not work properly and one did not know how to use the heater. People could see thru the curtains on the side I made the booking with my card, we were driving from LAX with three cars. My daughter checked-in first the receptionist did not want to wait and charged all the rooms on my credit card I was only a minute away from the hotel when she called me that everything was put on my card. I should had been told when the check-in time was until

This property is very convenient to many shopping and dining options, most within walking distance. Rooms are remodeled, clean, and comfortable in size for our family of 4. The fireplace in the room was a nice touch! Would definitely stay here again.

I would give this property a 10/10. Our family only had a couple of days to get away and this exceeded all of our expectations. Close to dining, cocktails, shopping, the property was beautifully remodeled. The kids loved the fact that they have an outdoor fireplace to hang out by. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you to the manager (who’s replacement staff called off and you could tell he was exhausted) for service with a smile and personally inspecting each room to make sure everything was up to par.

Laura, the property manager was amazing. One example: We needed baby blankets and they did not have any so she ran a fresh blanket through the dryer again and gave us a fresh one.

Our family traveled to Morro Bay for a proposal of our daughter. When we initially booked, we had no idea how convenient it would be to food, shopping and nightlife. We were sort of rushed to make dinner reservations and first fit in the proposal of our daughter. Alan and Anna were absolutely AMAZING in helping us set up in front of their sitting area by the fire pit. It was a very special moment and if it weren’t for them couldn’t have pulled it off. We will forever have memories of this special trip.
