Harbor House Inn Morro Bay

The Harbor House Inn was a great spot for a quick beach get away with the family dog included. The property is well kept and our dog appreciated his own goody bag upon check in. We would definitely stay again.

Super nice staff! We got here early and they were able to get us in a room(40 minutes early), they let us know of good restaurants near by and made sure we were happy! Let me pick the room since I have a 18 month old, was considerate of room best for child’s safety.

I like that I was able to park right in front of our room. At first I was placed on the second floor with a balcony the lady at the front t desk kindly switched us to the bottom floor with a patio. I let her know I have two little kids and I indicated that when I made my reservation. I enjoyed the room. I will say there isnt a curtain that covers the bathroom window. It is frosted but light shines through and I like my room pitch black when I am sleeping. I did request for new towels, a quick sweep, and the hotel body wash and hand soap were mixed up in the lock mount and asked to have it exchanged so I didn’t have to go to the shower to get hand soap to wash my hands. No one never came l. When I followed up on it the front desk said they make sure they clean all checked out rooms before doing room service. Still after that no one came. It was inconvenient that there wasn’t an outside trash can on our side of the parking lot there seem to be only one so it was filled to the top all day. The stay was okay. The bed was comfy but not so much the pillows. I giving 4 stars because the front desk lady moved me to the bottom floor so that was nice.

Housekeeping couldve been better and we received complaints about my autistic child.

Brought our dog and kids and it was fantastic! The first floor has a closed in porch area where kids and dog could easily sit and play. Fantastic for families or people with pets.

All updated rooms, very clean, and there’s even a dog washing station for when you get back from the beach with your fur babies. Definitely our new go to when we visit.

Really impressive hotel given the price and location! Had everything we needed for our family stay. Clean everything, walking distance to all attractions and restaurants as well as a great little market nearby. Will stay again for sure.

Good hotel fpr families trying to save money on trip. The price is right and it’s not far from the Main Street.

Absolutely wonderful stay!! The office staff was more than gracious about everything!! The room was super clean and the beds were super comfortable! The patio was wonderful!! Our fur baby dog even got a welcome treat bag when we arrived. We walked around every day for restaurants and sightseeing. We hope to return ASAP for another three night stay in the months to come. Thank you Harbor House!
