El Colibri Hotel & Spa

I like this property when I want a quiet getaway. I would not bring small children for an extended stay there are not amenities for them. It is too far away from the beach as well for children. I was disappointed that we got a card for the wine and beer bar but when we tried the beer taps both of them were empty. The staff working could not change the kegs.

Fantastic, Greet by your name love it.. beautiful,details of tiles, succulents entrance. Very impress by the open concept of the rooms Friendly staff, you were made to feel welcome like you came home to villa you were family, encourage to walk over to a beer tap get a cold glass of beer or wine.. sheets and towels fresh clean. Thank you

Hotel is in a great location right on end of moonstone beach boardwalk. Very accommodating with pets, rooms were super clean and quiet. Bed was great. With Covid they don’t offer complimentary breakfast or even coffee which is disappointing. We ordered room service (which was delivered by the Canteen) and it was 20 min late and cold-for the price not worth it. Also the one bedroom suites aren’t a true 1 bedroom there isn’t a door between rooms so it’s loud. We had a baby and Called in advance to confirm the one bedroom was separate, was told it was however that wasn’t the case

I really enjoyed the stay and the room was very nice and comfortable. I was very disappointed that the spa wasn’t working and the elevator. I wish they would have mentioned it when they had called me to confirm my reservation. Also I wish the staff would have controlled all the horse playing by children in the spa. I had went there for my anniversary for something romantic. Overall I loved the hotel.

Spacious rooms with fabulous deep soaking tubs and a few extras like shampoo, shower gel, make up remover, etc. Odd lack of other things such as proper cups instead of disposable ones, no bath robes even though its a spa hotel, no local info in thr rooms. The beds were comfortable once we got used to them being softer than we're used to. Staff were not that helpful on arrival. They told us something about some wine available but never mentioned the tea/coffee down near reception which we found later. There is a communal microwave you can use too. Hotel was clean but not immaculate. The lack of breakfast was more inconvenient than we'd anticipated as Cabria has a strange lack of cafe's or breakfast establishments. Morro Bay was the nearest good lunch or breakfast option. We stayed here with a baby and it was fine, but the entry door was a little tricky (no auto open button or way to keep the door open while getting through).
