The guest staff up front were all wonderful. Super friendly and accommodating. The room itself was clean and shower was awesome. The beds were not comfortable at all. Guest services said they are in process of replacing mattresses and would check on our room specifically to see if still needed to be replaced. We didn’t make a fuss over it since we were so happy to be in Del Mar. The restaurant breakfast was not bad. It’s good if you have kids and want to grab something before heading out on adventure. They serve Peet’s coffee and they make a good latte.

This property is a gem. It was a pleasure staying here. Starting with check in at the front desk. Tim was very informative and kind. All the staff working at the hotel seem to work together as a team. The breakfast café was equally as pleasant. The staff. Was extremely accommodating and helpful. The price point is reasonable and the food was excellent. I highly recommend this property. It’s a good place for families and all ages. The facility is kept up, everything was in working order. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I accidentally booked a room with one full bed when I needed two beds for four people and didn't realize it until we walked through the door of the room. I went to the front desk and explained how I messed up the reservation and if they could help. The manager on duty, Laurie, was incredible. She was able to switch us to a new room for the first two nights and the third we had a queen bed and roll away for the kids without any extra charges. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful itade the trip perfect. Rooms were clean and location is amazing. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!

This was our first time staying at this hotel when visiting family in San Diego. The location is perfect, the staff was extremely helpful, and the pool and grounds worked really well for us. Having a real breakfast at Cafe Del Mar was an unexpected plus. We will definitely plan to stay here in the future. Note that if you opt for the ocean view, the upper floors are better so you are above the parking lot.

We stayed in a double beds room. There was lots of room. There is only a shower no bath, very nice though. My parents stayed in a king bed room and it was rather small but those balconies overlook the ocean. The pool area was nice. Plenty of outdoor seating. Cafe was pricy but good for a quick bite. Someone hit my car in the parking lot that is shared with the park next door. Park goers drove pretty fast in the parking lot. Something just to be aware of if you are staying with little kids. I would definitely return to the hotel.
