Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Ontario Rancho Cucamonga

Got the king suite. The king bed was good but the sofa bed unfortunately was not. My kiddos stated they felt the springs and weren't very comfortable. The room itself was very nice and spacious. Walls were a lil thin so i was able to hear neighbors talking and their TV. Breakfast was decent for the continental. Good enough for the 2 nights we stayed.

We were on a long family road trip and this was one of the most pleasant stays we had of the entire trip. The facility was very clean and accommodating, staff was all friendly and helpful, and the surrounding area is loaded with restaurants, shops, and other activities. We will absolutely consider staying here again when in the area.

There were hair strands in the bed and on the wash cloth. As I was preparing for breakfast I noticed there wasn’t any water anywhere. I had left my bottle upstairs. I asked for a complementary 8oz bottle. The young man advised me that I could purchase a water and pointed at the fridge. Wow, I said ok and went to get some apple juice but changed my mind and decided to check out instead. Upon check out a young lady asked if my stay went well, I said it was ok until I couldn’t get a complimentary water. She didn’t empathize, she asked if I got one at check in lol. As I was walking out she gave me a water for the road. I thanked her and said NOW THAT IS MARRIOTT SERVICE, not that other mess. My family has two Marriott time shares, the same service we get there, we should get from any other Marriott establishment. The breakfast of a pre packaged sausage sandwich and boiled eggs along with a water ration is not Marriott standard. I love Marriott but I now know to never stay at the Fairfield portion of the portfolio. It is below standards and they would rather watch the budget on a water than leave a smile on a patron’s face.

The facility is very nice, rooms are well laid out. The TVs, ac and appliances all worked well in the room. The king bed was comfortable. The pull out sofa was very uncomfortable, have definitely had better mattresses on them at other locations. The kids didnt sleep well. The one issue we had with the room was the shower. Taking a shower at 8am the water would only get lukewarm. It seemed to be related to how many people were showering in the hotel at the time because earlier in the morning there was more heat. Called the front desk, she came up and inspected and said, "its warm, its fine." No help at all. Their breakfast was also minimal. Pre-packaged microwaved waffle or breakfast sandwich and basic continental options. Overall facility is nice but could improve in a few areas.

We requested a crib and the one we received was still dirty with cookies from the last kid that slept on it.

I like that my kids felt safe and comfortable arriving at a clean place
