Holiday Inn Express Hotel Sacramento Airport Natomas, an IHG Hotel

This property is kept in poor condition! Dirty on the elevator carpet, and the hallway carpet! Around 9:00 pm After taking a shower! I noticed two roaches coming out from the wall of the room # 201 where I stayed! With my family. I took pictures if someone needed proof of it! I would not recommend my family or friends to stay in this Property!

The man next door to us, pounded on the wall the minute we walked in at 6pm. Then the next morning as we were getting ready to go to the airport he is pounding on our door saying " open the door". I had to call the front desk to alert them. When i checked out they said he complained about the two toddlers that were very quiet. If you dont want to hear anyone then stay home or buy an rv, don"t pound on 2 females doors with 2 babies. Your lucky the husbands werent there tough guy.

At midnight the room above us had children running and jumping screaming for over an hour. Sounded like a herd of buffalo. Contacted desk and things did quiet down some. After traveling 1700 miles, did not need this!

The staff was great with our kids! Lots of walkable restaurants. Super comfy beds. The shuttle was convenient, with an amazing driver!

Shortly before we arrived to check in, we received a call that the suite we had reserved months ago were overbooked and we would get a regular room with 2 beds. That was inconvenient for our family of 5. We were compensated with some snacks from the market, which the kids enjoyed. There was hair on the bathroom sink and in the shower and cobwebs on the lights. I don’t plan to stay here again.

Rooms were good and clean. The overall property looked duty. Carpet in main areas needed vacuuming. Maybe they are short staff. I always count on the rooms having hand soap. But the soap dispenser in the rooms were set so hi that my kids and myself couldn’t reach them to wash our hand. Only my husband who is 6’2” could reach it.

When I was on my way after a long day of sports, my husband was called at 9:00pm and informed that our room was not ready. I showed up minutes later and waited until 9:45/10:00 to finally get into a room when we had a very early morning the next day, it was very late by the time we were settled and it continued to be very loud with a ton of college kids filling the hotel. I felt very bad for the person at the desk. She was frantic and trying to fix the problems. She even cleaned our room herself and explained the maids just didn’t clean a lot of the rooms. She was excellent but not getting a room that I paid for until hours after I was supposed to was absolutely ridiculous. We’ve stayed here before for a tournament but will rethink that next time. She did upgrade our room to King I’m assuming because they had given ours out but that left us with not enough beds for my kids and one slept on the floor. By that time I was too tired and annoyed to even argue it.

It's in the safe part of town. That being said, our room wasn't ready until a hour and a half after check-in. The hot tub didn't work and disgusting. Management busted into our room at 2 am and apologized. They didn't know we were in there. Woke my wife and kids up.

Room was clean but the noise level was ridiculous. You heard every sound, conversation and baby cry. We woke up in the middle of the night with our room smelling of weed and cigarettes. So much for no smoking. Debated on checking out early and finding a new hotel. Definitely wouldn't recommend or return to this site.
