SpringHill Suites by Marriott Modesto

We love staying here every time we are visiting family. Very centrally located and convenient.

Very clean, very comfortable for my family of 5. Suit room so 2 to a bed and one on the couch pull out. All very comfortable, air conditioning worked well, a little loud for my husband but no one else was bothered by it cycling on/off. Pool was great, service was great. Breakfast was egss, suasuage patties, fruit, oatmeal bar, waffles (chocolate chip and plain batter), and really good muffins. Coffee, tea, milk, OJ, available. Great stop on our travel back home. Would stay again in a heartbeat and would recommnend.

Stayed for one night during a family road trip. Room was clean and comfortable—no issues at all for all parts of the experience.

Overall: OK... would probably not stay here again. Bad: front desk kid was rude.. the shower was gross, cmon Marriot.. the carpet was bunching up all over the room with ridges and bumps all around the floor, as well as the floor in the room kept sagging as you stepped on it. Good: close to the highway, did not have to go far into the city. EV Chargers onsite.

The staff and roll was excellent. The thin walls allowed for poor sleep and the many unattended children and young people were unruly. I could clearly hear yelling, running, and conversation. The running water and other noise from wall-mates was too loud. The staff and location made this place welcoming.

The room was worn, the floor edges were dirty, There was an old baby bottle under the couch. The window seal was dirty. We were there for 3 nights and not once did a housekeeper come to clean the room. I had to continually ask for towels. The complimentary breakfast was not good, the oatmeal was watered down, the eggs were watered down, the breakfast egg sandwich ingredients had propellant in it and is not healthy very unsafe.

The staff member that checked my family and I in wasn't very nice or sociable. If you're having a bad day, take a breather and reset yourself.

Second time staying here. There were some baseball/softball tournaments (reason we stayed-softball) So there were a lot of families and kids. Because of this it was quite noisy and there were confrontations with the staff and families during quiet hours when we were trying to rest for the following day of early games. I know this made the staff particularly sensitive, but my young children (8 years of age) were reprimanded for running a short distance, in the middle of the day, from the dining area to our room down the hall (first floor) with my significant other following. We did not appreciate this. In the future I would ask that the staff reserve their disciplinary responses to those who disturb and cause harm to the property and others instead of more minor incidents.

It has been our third time staying at this facility. Employees are welcoming and it’s a family friendly hotel.
