We had a wedding to attend and made it a family trip. This was the first time staying and it was amazing. Loved the location and the cozy feel of the rooms!

Our stay was fine, the rooms have nice views and are clean. The mattress was an old spring mattress so entire bed shook when you moved. Family hotel, I get it but why would you ever put a family with little kids upstairs? The child was up at 5am running laps around the room which means we were up at 5am. But other than the rude neighbors and a not very great mattress, stay was fine.

Beautiful place to stay close to the ocean. The only thing I didn’t care for was the family with multiple children running up and down the stairs , jumping and yelling in the room above us.

Amazing location with wonderful views of the coastline and access to various coastal trails. Room definitely had many signs of wear such as rusted sliding door track, mismatching bathroom materials, discoloration across carpet that I would not expect for a $200 per night room. Made the most of my 3 nights stay to visit family in area but unlikely to stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. They has luxury robes hanging in the closets and plenty of soap and toiletries. We has a great view of the ocean and took advantage of the free complimentary breakfast. We also had the opportunity to enjoy relaxing by the fire pits and their sister property. All in all we had a wonderful experience for our family and will be back.

We stayed here for our anniversary. The ocean view room was very nice. I appreciate having mugs for my tea. I def recommend bringing ear plugs or headphones. There were children running around and slamming doors below us which made our stay unpleasant. Also, WiFi isn’t the greatest. I’d connect then it’d disconnect me. Other than WiFi and the noise, it’s a nice place to stay.

Good check in/out, helpful and friendly staff…. Nice view of ocean. But you don’t want the downstairs units when there is a family of four above…. Think stampede for hours. Cleanliness appeared good but once the baseboard heaters were turned on you could smell the dust. A check of the high surfaces turned up a nasty brown/black finger of dust and the carpet smelled of dust. Simply, please revamped and get new mattresses/pillows. There are all way past due.

The stay at surf and sand lodge was great. You can walk right off your patio to the beach trails along the coastal trail. Thinking of renting a single building for a family trip next time. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.
