Upon check-in with my two children, the horribly rude front desk woman told me they only had a room with one king bed, and nothing that accommodated 3 people - unlike the description on the website when I confirmed my reservation. She offered zero alternatives to help me and was incredibly disrespectful and rude. We were not offered any kind of assistance, and had jo choice but to cancel the room and find another place to stay. This was at 7 oclock at night with tired children after a full day of travel. They refused to give me my money back and charged me the full stay at $500!! And I never stepped foot inside the room. The manager has refused to refund me for the stay. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

One of the best family vacation, to LA but wanted to be close to the beach. Took tour of Beverly hills, the Hollywood walk of fame, The shore Hotel one of the best hotel stays overall; excellent location close to the beach, pier, malls, and airport. Ocean view hotel room 5th floor. Kids loved the sweaming pool. Excellent service, all staff friendly and professional. Great breakfast, pancakes, omelette- onions tomatoes and bell peopers. Overall amazing experience.

Really nice staff, very helpful. Tony, Mika, Ali, Raul and James, plus other staff treated us like family. We have not ever felt so welcomed and appreciated. We will definately stay there again.

This property is so well placed with a pool just across the street from the beach. You can walk to so many things to do and is a short Uber ride to all the big LA attractions. The property was meticulously maintained by a very friendly staff. The only hiccup was check in. The front desk person could not find my reservation which is stressful to start a vacation. They took my name and phone number, checked our bags, and said they would look into it and call me. The call never came, so I came back several hours later just before 4;00 and they had it figured out. The promised call would have been helpful so I didn’t spend my first many hours in Santa Monica with kids worried about our reservation.
