Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel

Friendly, helpful staff. Upon request, they switched me to a room with a tub. Clean, quiet room. I’m 61 and was traveling alone. Walked to the beach in flip flops then took them off to walk barefoot. Soaked in the outdoor hot tub, swam in the outdoor pool, where friendly families were enjoying themselves. I enjoyed the ladies’ steam room and sauna and met lovely women to talk to. Downtown Santa Monica itself has, unfortunately, post-COVID has lost its unique charm and seems on its way to being a “sustainable city” with homeless people and only corporate chains. The hotel, however, was wonderful.

Due to a cancellation of a flight home treated my family to a stay at this property. At no fault to the property, the weather was bad however the property itself and everything in it ranging from the room, staff, amenities and experience was perfect! After sitting the airport for 12 hours, we booked here and arrived safely. The Korean Wings in the bar and burger were amazing! We had a tremendous sleep then were provided umbrellas to go for a walk on the pier and nearby area. We came back, enjoyed a workout then hopped in the heated pool. I can't say enough about this property, just wish the weather was better and that we could enjoy the beach! Will visit again someday if we go back to LA.

We had the most wonderful stay at Loews Santa Monica! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful from reception to bell staff to restaurant staff to housekeeping. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A very convenient location as well - short walk to the beach and pier along with many restaurants nearby. They let you take their towels to the beach which is amazingly helpful in not collecting sand in your room and belongings. Pool is heated to a comfortable temperature. Views from the pool area are amazing. We enjoyed coffee overlooking the beach most mornings. Very LGBTQ friendly. This was our first family vacation with our six month old and we want to make it an annual summer tradition. When Loews found out it was our first family trip, they gifted us a bottle of wine waiting for us in our room along with a very kind card and fresh fruit. We can’t wait to come back!

For business, pleasure or family fun… this is the perfect hotel. The staff is incredible and met every need. It’s beautiful, modern, fun and has stunning beach and sunset views. Games, easy beach access and bikes are icing on the cake. This might be my favorite property anywhere. Truly incredible! It’s the whole package. Luxury, fun, vacation. Spend the evening at a fire pit table and watch the waves and the sunset. Magic.

I had family visiting and couldn't accommodate them at my home so booked two rooms for them the The Loews. They loved it. The pool, the lounge, the rooms and the location. I am happy that they were sooo happy!

This is a perfect spot! Easy walking distance to a beautiful beach, boardwalk, rides, plus shopping on 3rd street. Amazing dining locations. The pool at the hotel is fantastic for kids and families. And the rooms are beautiful! All in all, absolutely perfect! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The welcome glass of champagne set the tone for the whole stay. Friendly, relaxed but efficient service. Fantastic location and views. Great food. It was a perfect stay and the whole family would go back again, and again.
