Le Merigot Santa Monica

From design to service this stay was pure class filled with the most excellent service making us feel more like we were visiting family and not a business. Only thing I wish They offered was more options on the room service menu. Otherwise this was a fantastic stay. Our family will be back to stay again.

The staff is great, especially the valet crew, however this hotel is completely under construction. The rooms have all been renovated, but outside of that, nothing is up to par with what you would expect. The courtyard is roped off due to construction, the pool is closed, beach access from behind the building is closed. The fitness room and sauna are completely outdated and the sauna/steam room are unusable. To charge full price for this hotel while under these conditions is poor judgement, but to also charge a resort fee is nearly criminal. The only reason why I didn't ask for a refund and go somewhere else was because my family and I spent 10 hours traveling to Santa Monica, unpacked and didn't want to go through the hassle of getting a refund and book a new hotel in the area. I have no doubt it will be a great property once the construction is completed, but there are better options out there right now to consider.

Was greeted before even walking in the doors by the wonderful valet and bellmen. They were all so helpful and attentive when my family and I arrived. We requested a crib for our two year old when we checked in. It arrived within a few minutes of us finishing our unpacking, so it was pretty speedy! The room we ended up in was amazing! We had our own private area and had a view of both the beach and the pier. The location is great if you’re someone who loves having everything within walking distance. Plenty of great restaurants and places to grab a drink at.

We had a great stay at the Le Merigot Santa Monica. Everyone from the valet to the spa and fromt desk were very friendly and helpful. Totally recomend if you travel with kids and pets. Very cloae to the Beach and santa Monica Pier.

The guest staff services were beyond good. They were great. Mariah, Garcella, Michael, Bianca, everyone exhibited exceptional service and it was the best hotel stay we've ever had and we travel often. We highly recommend LeMerigot Hotel. They are the best and make you feel like you're right at home with family. The dining service and staff were wonderful. Even the doormen and car service were warm and welcoming to the guest. What a great experience!

This is one of the best hotels in Santa Monica. Access to the beach was so close and surronding restaurants within walking distance. Close to Santa Monica pier and a bike ride away to Venice. The restaurant and bar here were great along with outdoor seating. Great for families and dog friendly from what we saw. I loved it here and will be back and tell everyone

The hotel is lovely, lobby very comfortable for morning coffee. Coffee is great! Location close to beach, shopping and downtown Santa Monica. Although I found the hotel pleasing, I must admit the hallway noise travels right through your door. Not sure why, or if it is correctable by Marriot, but it can be disburbing. It is not a matter of being a light sleeper. You can hear walking (or worse kids running), conversations of other guest going to their rooms. It is as if your door is open. The hotel was very quiet once all guest got to their rooms, it was not that you heard noises through the walls or ceilings. It was only noise going through the door. I would stay their again, but request a different room, in case it was just that particular room.

Had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Would rather have had a room with a pool or courtyard view but they were booked due to the kids choice awards. Although when I checked in I was not told about the hours for breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. The girl was quick to give me my room. Just one complaint. There was water damage on the ceiling that looked like it had been somewhat repaired but not painted over. So I was a bit nervous due to the damage being over the bed. Overall very nice room.
