This hotel was perfect for my kid’s birthday trip! MANY things Hollywood was all walking distance! The kids were able to explore on their own! I only hope they upgrade the rooms with mini fridges and microwaves. Would really make this the PERFECT stay! Also there’s no reason to charge $60’for valet and the parking garage is RIGHT THERE for $20!l/24hrs.

Fantastic staff and great amenities. I stayed for two nights and was given the junior suite with a view of the Hollywood sign. Thank you

Parking and the bottega is very expensive, but otherwise, love this property. That area of Hollywood is reasonably safe during the day, but downright dangerous after dark. However, the attached mall is a safe option while it is open and our kids enjoyed. We stay here every time we return to LA. Great location with easy access to Beverly Hills, Larchmont, The Grove and the Valley. Right on the 101 for downtown access.

Room was a decent size for our family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Within walking distance to a nearby mcdonalds plus the Ovation shopping mall just beside was a bonus. Parking at the Ovation was $20 flat overnight which saved us quite a bit for 3 nights and it was linked to the hotel lift lobby as well. Price is really reasonable for a nice hotel in Hollywood. Oh yes, the Hollywood sign can be seen from our room! Will definitely be back if visiting LA again.

Kind of a mainstay in the area right next to the Dolby Theater. Good for business, leisure, couples and families.

In the heart of Hollywood and Walk of the Stars, yet views of Hollywood Sign, Hollywood Hill and over LA. The hotel is safe, staff are nice and approachable. I took my kids and they loved the free snack they provided. They now want me to take them again.
Probably one of the nicest hotels in this area.

I purchased through and paid in full with Expedia. The hotel required the entire stay price plus an additional deposit and put a hold on my card. I was told the money would be taken off of the hold within 24 hours of my stay being complete. It was, but within 48 hours of check out, they charged my card again for the entire stay, even though I had paid through Expedia. I called them to have this corrected 2x and was told both times that a manager wasn't available and I would be promptly called back. It has been 3 days without resolution or even a call back to have someone to talk to about what happened.
One of the reasons why I chose this hotel was because of it being in the heart of Hollywood but also because my son was very excited to be able to go to the pool. It was not listed anywhere that the pool was closed for maintenance so we didn't actually have access to that during our stay.
The second night we were there, the power went out and the fire alarm sounded for about 10 minutes around 9:30 at night. Being as we were on the 18th floor and taking safety seriously as my child was with me, we went into the stairwell to descend and it took 4 calls before we could get through to the front desk to see if it was a false alarm or not. When we got through to them, they assured us it was a false alarm and not to worry. We got settled back in and it sounded again about half an hour later.
One morning we bought a parfait downstairs at the café and the yogurt was spoiled.

The Loews Hollywood was a fantastic location for our trip to Hollywood and Los Angeles. We spent our days visiting The Farmers Market / Getty Museum, Warner Bros Studios and Burbank, Griffith Park and Observatory, and felt like we were staying in the middle of it all. We walked Hollywood Blvd (totally touristy but a must-do), and there is a multi-story outdoor shopping and dining mall attached to the hotel (Ovations). My kids enjoyed visiting Dave and Busters one night, and we were happy to have something to do close by in the evening. Parking was a breeze and only $20 per night - we parked in the big garage for the shopping mall, took the elevators up to the 3rd floor and it was a short walk into the hotel.
