We stayed at this hotel for a family trip (2 adults, 1 child) for 6 nights as a home base for exploring Los Angeles. We don't particularly love Hollywood Blvd but this location is great for access (short drive) to many other attractions including Universal Studios, Griffith Park, Sony Studios, La Brea Tar Pits and Museum Mile. The hotel shows its age in some ways but the upkeep is excellent, it is super cute and very clean. And it has a kitchen which was a huge plus for us, plus a continental breakfast hosted by Patricia who is the most lovely person ever - she even made burritos for us! The location of the hotel is close to Hollywood Blvd if you are into that but also on a cute quiet street. We never had a problem with parking although it can be quite tight. There's laundry on site as well. My only small concern is that there doesn't seem to be recycling on site and we weren't sure where to put our recyclables (we hate throwing them in the garbage). Otherwise, great value for the price and we would definitely stay here again.

Great stay for our family. Easy to walk into main strip of Hollywood and easy to get to most popular spots. Only 15 mins to Universal. Very comfortable beds and good hot water. Nice to be able to cook a meal.

Huge rooms, great for families, Patricia who runs breakfast is an absolute gem. If you are from Australia, let her know as she has a stash of Vegemite for your toast ;)

Great spot, older building but well kept. Room was big and clean. Two story with no elevator but the staff was more than willing to carry your bags up if needed. Staff were great, smiles and hugs all around, lovely family run hotel.
Parking was no problem, lot was around the corner but attached to the hotel from the back. Less than 5 min walk to Mann’s Chinese Theatre.
Quiet spot and felt very safe.

We stayed in Hollywood Celebrity Hotel in our first trip to LA in 2006 and came back 17 years later with kids. The place was just as cozy as before. It’s very close to a big mall in West Hollywood & the hotel’s own parking lot. Kitchen utensils were prepared (unlike some hotels where I should ask for one) and the breakfast waffles were the best!

This hotel was a great find, the building itself was a lovely building tucked away on a side street, just behind the dolby theatre which you could access the shopping centre from the ramp at the back. We arrived a little before check in time but were able to go straight to our room. The room was amazing we are a family of 3 adults the room consisted of 2 King size beds a kitchen area with hob, fridge, microwave and seperate sink, also a dining table with chairs. A small dressing area with dressing table drawers and hanging storage and a bathroom including bath with shower over. Much larger than we expected and so central to the main tourist area of Hollywood Boulevard. We had breakfast included which consisted of a selection of bagels, bread/toast, cereal including porridge, waffles, tinned fruit, tea/coffee/hot choc and fruit juice. All served by a lovely lady who is very friendly and clearly loves her work. If I return to the Hollywood area I won't hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Property is a little tired and kitchen supplies a little short (only 2 forks), no wine glasses. 2 bedroom suite worked well for families, plenty of space and central but quiet location. Cannot fault the staff, very eager to please and sorted out anything we required with a smile. (Including some 🍷 glasses). Included breakfast was plus and even had Vegemite. Would stay again

This was our first time in LA, and Patricia set the tone for the rest of the trip. We arrived super early and she was there to greet us like we were family. She was so sweet, hospitable and ridiculously funny, that when we return, we’ll be looking to book here! The gentleman who checked us in, was so nice. He held our bags while we explored, and even called once a room was available.
The hotel is a cute apartment-style boutique hotel in the perfect location. The Walk of Fame, lots of restaurants, a Kobe Bryant mural, public transportation (one stop from Universal Studios!), etc., is all a quick 5 minute walk away - what a great location! The room we booked had two beds, a mini fridge, microwave, table and chairs, dresser, and vanity, which was awesome. What a pleasant surprise!
Patricia, thank you for your hospitality and beautiful aura! Front desk staff (his name begins with an “A,” thank you so much for your genuine kindness!
