Hotel Hermosa

We are a family with small children. We are ok with noise. But the hotel had a group of people that let their kids run wild. They were ding dong ditching, destroying hotel property, being very loud and running everywhere. The elevator took so long because the kids would hit every button. They even broke the pool and it had to close for repairs. Staff sent a text message out to remind guest to supervise their kids but it didn’t help.

We got the loft suite, the pictures made it look way more bigger then it was ( we had 2 kids) the view was, none existing sadly. They are a no cash hotel which was a pain due to card issues we had. It was a pretty place. But for 600$ and no free parking or breakfast was alot. Definitely going to look else where next time.

Super clean and fairly new hotel! Amazing staff, especially the assistant manager who was so nice! Just wish the room was a bit larger or that they had connecting rooms because for a family of 4 with suitcases, it got pretty tight! Other than that it is a lovely place close to everything!

We stayed while visiting our family in Hermosa. First floor room facing the courtyard, no street noise and easy access in and out. Henry at the front desk was wonderful. Great stay!

Hermosa Beach is my home town I’ve stayed at Hotel Hermosa many times in the past. I haven’t been back home to Hermosa in over a decade & came back for my dad’s celebration of life party with my family & old friends. I refused to stay anywhere other than Hotel Hermosa when I knew I would be flying back home. My stay is exactly like I expected it to be & I appreciate the hospitality so thank you everyone for making my trip back home feel like home again.

Excellent choice for family vacation

We have stayed at Hotel Hermosa before and really enjoyed it. This stay was brief, but a bit frustrating. Parking was not always convenient, which is tough with three kids. The remote did not work, so we were unable to watch anything, but ESPN. Finally, the continental breakfast company did not show up the morning we were there so that was not available to us.

Beautiful property and the Team is excellent! My family was treated extremely well. We will definitely return!

The hotel was beautiful and initially clean. When we arrived at 3:45 after the check in time, our room was not ready. We waited for 20 minutes and then mentioned we had to be somewhere at 4:20. They kindly upgraded our room which was very nice. We stayed at this hotel for a week. During the week, we had no cleaning service come to our room to replenish towels, toilet paper or check the garbage. We had to ask for towels and a garbage bag to clean our hotel room. Several nights the people in the room next to ours were smoking pot and the smell was overwhelming. It actually woke my small children up in the middle of the night; the smell was that pungent. The hotel had no complimentary coffee and actually charged us for the coffee. I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years and I have NEVER had a hotel charge me for coffee in the morning. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed and will not be staying at this hotel again.

Check in was easy, parking convenient but our stay wasn't pleasant or restful mostly because the person next door played loud video games late into the night and had a party smoking a lot of weed where it felt like they were smoking in our room. We had a child with us. Front desk couldn't be reached.
