The pool area was closed throughout my stay. I have 3 kids who had nothing else to do but pass time in the lobby since the pool was closed. Also, there was a lot of hair in the shower/ tub. Found a few stains on the white, down comforter .

Stayed one night while at a soccer tournament. The room was big, clean, and generally nice. It was pretty quiet except a bit of freeway noise which didn’t bother us. I thought I booked a room with 2 queens, but we got a king and a pull out couch. Not a problem because my kid isn’t picky about where he sleeps. There were no sheets on the pull out or any extra sheets in the room though, which was kind of annoying. We didn’t realize this until my son was going to bed and we had to wait a while to get a set of sheets. The person that delivered them was super pleasant though. We didn’t get to use any amenities, but the gym looked nice. The pool was closed for a few weeks, but we didn’t have time for that so we didn’t care. My one real complaint is that they had a bottle of water in the room that they wanted to charge $4 for. I mean come on. We all know the water in SoCal isn’t great so why not help your guests out and give them a few free bottles of water? Instead we had to trek over to the grocery store to buy some for half the cost. Overall it was totally fine for an overnight stay and we will probably stay again for another tournament.

The hotel is located at walking distance to several stores, restaurants, coffee shop. Made it so convenient for the family. Customer service at the hotel was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent from start to finish. Portia was amazing helping me plan for my fathers 92 Birthday celebration. My family said Lynn was very accommodating at check in and I will give you all a five star applause.

We had to check in due to bad weather. We were driving from LAX to Poway. When I checked in I asked how much a room was and then tried to show how much it was on hotels.com but he wouldn’t match the price and then he told me it take 30+ minutes for their computers to get reservations from hotels.com. I was traveling with myself, 12 yr old who’s autistic and a 2 yr old. So frustrated and exhausted. Then the TV didn’t work in the room, the front desk person wouldn’t even come up to the room to check it. I check the wall and it was plugged in, she said maybe the remote so I got a new remote and it still didn’t work. Thankfully there was Wi-Fi so I could use my iPad as a TV. When I called down and told her she told me there was nothing she could do. Didn’t offer a new room or discount. It’s really hard to travel with kids and no tv.

Ayres Hotel was nice my children and myself. Their breakfast in the morning was a great option. It was a family environment. I will always keep in mind to book another with Ayres Hotel.
