Capital Hotel

Historically this has been a great property with excellent service, high-end. Now it is run down and in need of renovation and repair. It is overpriced - and now both of the restaurants are insanely expensive. On arrival we didn’t have a working sink. We had to leave the room for that to be repaired. Loud DJs kept us up late into the night with walls shaking and bass at ridiculous levels. When we requested late checkout we were given til noon and at least 4 people from housekeeping entered our room from 10 am until 12 pm. When we attempted to valet we were told it was full - mind you the restaurants were full and those patrons had used up valet spaces, limiting options for guests of the hotel. When we initially arrived at the hotel we weren’t even greeted by a valet and I had to get my own luggage cart and unload myself and my small child. This is not like the CH I once knew. We will no longer be making the CH part of our Christmas experience.

This elegant hotel is a great place to stay. My family and I felt special staying here, and it was a good price!

We loved staying at the Capital Hotel. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The hotel has Christmas events for children and the food at the bar and grill was excellent!
