Hilton Garden Inn Little Rock Downtown

We had a short 1-night stay on our way through Little Rock, and this place was great. We were impressed with how clean and new everything felt in the lobby and main areas. In our room, we were impressed with the how comfortable the bed was and the spacious design of the room. We had a newborn, so we didn’t get to experience much in downtown Little Rock, but this place seems great for anyone wanting to spend time walking, eating, and drinking around downtown.

Staff was rude when we questioned when the pool would be reopened. Our kids didn’t get to swim our trip and no one would answer why. Breakfast is not included in the expensive price neither is parking, it was valet only and for $25 a night.

1st off, valet parking staff? Best guys ever!! I traveled with 4 young children alone & they were so so patient & helpful! Worth EVERY penny in every way! All staff was great as were room, cleanliness, safety, etc. Only 1 complaint & that was that i booked this hotel specifically for the location, services & indoor pool (that was 1st priority with the littles). When we arrived for check in, i was informed that the pool was closed for health code filter issue & was being fixed. The booking was non refundable so we were stuck. I feel like a refund would have been a nice offer under the circumstances & the clerk was extremely apologetic but made no alternative offer/suggestion. I should have called 1st but it was spur of the moment & i trusted company to provide what was offered. Bad company but great staff. I wont be booking with this hotel again though sadly. I need a hotel that i can depend on to provide offered services or to be willing to make the inconvenience less memorable (especially when the service down was the primary reason). Again, i would like to stress that outside of that, ir was a good experience, especially the valet parking!

When we checked in two employees were at two counters but rather than one help me, she required me to wait until the other was available. While I waited, the available person did nothing. There was no apparent reason for her making me wait. After the first night, when we left for our day with family, I requested that trash be emptied and towels replenished. In the early afternoon, after my husband returned to the room, he called for towels. At 3:00 that afternoon, housekeeping was still MIA. I went to the desk and asked for them, housekeeping took their time getting them to me while I waited. The $25 per night valet parking was ridiculous.
