Lux Verde Hotel

Checked in around 430, freshened up with a quick shower and headed off to visit family. Got back later that evening, got ready for bed. Pulled back the sheets and there was blood and pee stains. Asked for another room, got in a room with 2 queens. Wife checked both beds and the same on both! 3 seperate beds! Went to the front desk, clerk was very understanding and took notes. We weren't going to stay there. No rooms were available in Cottonwood so had to drive to Camp Verde for the night. Went back next morning, no manager, had to call Monday. Was told since I booked with Hotels.com I had to go through them. Over a week later to be told the lux wouldn't refund my money because I stayed the night wich is a lie! We weren't going to sleep in a crime scene! They are liars and unsanitary! Their staff was decent but mamagement is garbage like their beds! Worst customer service. Do not stay there, would rather sleep anywhere but there. I'm not a big review guy but what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong! I will post this on every site I can! I can't upload photos here but I will post where I can!

Great place to stay with family.

This was my first time at this hotel but it leaves a big impression on my wife on I on we would recommend it to family on friends all in all we give this place a A+

Property had everything - clean comfortable room, restaurant, lounge, pool , hot tub, and nice continental breakfast. . Would recommend property to friends and family.

We stayed two nights and felt very comfortable with our little kids here. The room was very clean and updated. Refrigerated worked well. Breakfast was good. Every encounter with staff was very pleasant. You can tell they care. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel especially if traveling with children. Bowling and arcade room but lots of extras that’s aren’t advertised well like nightly smores on patio, kids movies at indoor pool nightly, room upstairs with board games, outdoor pool has outdoor games by it. Starbucks coffee machine with black or chai latte was nice touch. Our room was in separate building but it wasn’t too far of walk. Room was nicely renovated. Location was perfect for us to hike Grand Canyon. When we arrived the State park had 2.2 mile long line to get in which luckily this hotel is far side of this strip so we didn’t have to wait long in line to get to hotel. We didn’t have breakfast here but both dinner options were very good. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to visit Grand Canyon area, especially with kids.

The Lux Verde Hotel is an excellent hotel to stay at! We got a room with 2 queen beds for our family of four, and it was amply spacious. The staff was extremely courteous and spent extra time with us making recommendations on where to hike locally. The rooms were very clean when we arrived, and they cleaned them well as we were out for the day. The free breakfast was very hearty. They offered healthy options like yogurt, fruit and bagels and had an ample supply of waffles, sausages and eggs. Big shout out to the employee who kept all the food, coffee and juices stocked. She was busy cleaning and restocking for the crowds that filled the breakfast room and was non-stop until everybody was full. The hotel is in Cottonwood, which is a very pleasant little town away from the bustle of Sedona. They have some great restaurant options (we ate in the Old Town area), a Starbucks, Dutch Brothers and great stores for shopping if you need supplies. We spent a fraction of the price to stay at the Lux Verde but had twice the pleasant experience! It's just short 30 minute drive into Sedona for all the sites and hiking options and totally worth it. Overall we loved our stay, location, cleanliness, and friendliness of all the staff. We will recommend it to friends and will stay again!

Nice rooms in a great location. Although the walls were thin, and we could hear a baby crying much of the night in the room next door, we really enjoyed our stay!

I only live 5 miles away ..in Jerome ..and came down to stay a few days to escape a snowstorm that was coming into my mountain town . It was a perfect “second home” as I had business appointments for those Green Day’s and the location was convenient for al, if them . The staff felt like family …and the restaurant on site (Bella Vita Kitchen) is fantastic ! Comfort and convenience— and all at a great price !

Large rooms , perfect for families. Rooms included refrigerator and microwave. Close to markets and dining.
