Sonesta Select Tucson Airport

Was there for a family function, room was nice had a very comfortable stay. Good area close to every thing. The only down fall was no phones on room could not call up for service and desk clerk was also the shuttle driver. Front counter was left unattended at times had to wait for a their return to get things needed.

A very gloomy stay. It's worth saying upfront that the bedding, the ¨bottom¨ line, so to speak, was good. I was attracted to this property by the room configuration, with a divider between king sized bed and the sofa area, a set up that can comfortably accommodate a few extra family members. Not too many modern hotel rooms can be described as ¨gloomy,” The first bad sign was the repeated use of colors on the brown spectrum. Brown? Who chooses brown? There is no food available on the property, and nothing within walking distance. There was no shampoo in the dispenser attached to the shower (presumably designed to prevent shampoo thievery). The plastic shower/tub buckled under my (modest) weight, the instability making me feel unstable. The toilet made noise all night. When my third replacement room key failed to open the door, I expressed my displeasure at the front desk. The young clerk expressed displeasure at my displeasure, putting me in my place. I moved to a better lodging right down the street. End of story.

The front desk attendant Veronica was annoyed during check in and had her child working the front dest with her. I’m all for a family business but she was short with me and everyone else. Room was ok but toilet broke. Offered to move us to a smaller room where our family wouldn’t fit no other option. Maintenance is no longer showing up so if you stay and something goes wrong you are SOL. The whole thing would have been better if Veronica was nicer. It’s so disappointing to pay to be treated poorly. I’d spend your money elsewhere till they get their act together.

The staff was amazing! Too bad their facility did not match. The floors in the rooms were not clean, there was rust stains in the bath tub, the TV did not turn off..stayed on the whole night. Their baby refrigerator made noise the whole night and that was in the 2nd room they put me in. The first room had a stench rancid in the sink from the prior visitors, the curtains did not shut all the way, floor was gross/dirty and the "gym" had 9 dumbells and four cardio machines. I was highly disappointed in the facility. However, their staff was so gracious to try to find me a room that was decent. Needless to say will not be staying there again.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfy, but really noisey. We had a family above us with little kids that ran around until 1am, and then started pounding on the floor again about 4am. The lobby and public areas were in desperate need of updating, very shop worn. The breakfast was mediocre, and the dining room was a filthy mess at 8:30am when we went down. No coffee, little food, debris all over the place, nobody to be seen. no coffee cups etc... not really very nice

Highly recommended by family, we paid extra for a deluxe room on a high floor. Arrived after many hours of flight delays and were not prepared to protest.

Outside is mid but the inside was clean, people friendly, the rooms were clean, not smelly with smoke. We had fluffy bed covers, the pillows were cold, the way we like it! The little things in the room added padazz! The breakfast was good, but the wait on more food was expected. Our fault for coming down at 9:30, close to end of breakfast. Over all, great experience & comfy! Over night parking was great! Didn’t notice any crazy outside. We would totally stay again, next time with our kidos! Oh Walmart & casino near by! And Blake’s lota burger!!

Amazing stay with the family love the view to the airport

The hotel was a little out dated. It was strange to have the towel rack inside the actual shower. They do no have microwaves in the room but they do have a fridge. Upon checking in the staff was friendly, however during our visit my family experienced some rude behavior. At check in we were informed that rooms were only cleaned every three days but if we needed towels to just go to the lobby abd ask. My adult son and daughter did so and the woman was irritated and snapped at them for taking the room towels to use at the pool. They went to the pool assuming towels were provided, but once they got tobthe pool there were no towels there. They returned to the room to get towels from there. There were no signs anywhere stating you needed to go ask for special towels for the pool and we were not told this when we checked in. Otherwise they woukdnt have wasted a trip back to the 5th floor. The lady was annoyed and rude to the point that the next time we needed something they were afraid to even go ask because they didnt want another lecture.
