Wingate by Wyndham Page Lake Powell

We arrived late in the day and were nicely greeted at the front desk. Our room was very comfortable for four people and our dog. The grandkids thought the amenities were great. The room was quiet, great view of Lake Powell, slept well and good coffee and breakfast in the morning. No complaints! We would definitely stay here again.

Unprofessional, rude staff that did not provide good or courteous service at to all customers. We had arrived at 13:00 after traveling for three hours. My husband tried to check in and was told check in was 3. He would have to pay 10/HR. If he chose to check in early. We decided to wait in lobby because it was hot outside.we asked her to let us know when it was check in time. We watched the front desk deal with several other customers.One that chose to leave and one wanted to cancel. At 2:25 we watched registration check in family with no mention of extra fee. Soon several others got in line. When my husband asked if it was 3 ( it wasn’t) and wanted to know why others weren’t told check in was 3 and made to pay or wait. General manager started yelling that she was going to cancel our registration because we were rude to her employee. In front of entire lobby. She said all hotels don’t let early check in without paying. And we did not want to pay up charge. We have to disagree. In our of our stays from Las Vegas, Zion, to Bryce we were always offered early check in (as early as 10:30 in Vegas)And they had rooms ready. We were upset because the standard was different for other guests at this hotel. We were directly across from the registration, quietly reading our books, so we were able to here and see everything. GM Laina made sure she was in elevator with us on our way to room. Plenty of other hotels in Page, will not chose Wingate or Wyndham properties again if possible.

Loved this property! I would highly recommend. Staff was incredibly friendly and kind, and I received an upgraded room for being an Expedia VIP without asking. This is the second time my family has stayed here, and we will always stay here when traveling to Page. Can’t recommend enough! And we are picky about hotels, haha.

This hotel has nice staff,very friendly and communicated ,,,the hotel is nice and clean with cozy and comfy beds with a beautiful view ,self free parking as well it has free breakfast from 6:30-9:30am everything freshly cooked, My kids and I love it,& we definitely will stay over again next time.

We had gone for a vacation trip and the hotel was perfect. Nice clean homely and good for family

Wingate by Wyndham was a decent place to stay. Clean and a nice atmosphere. There was a breakfast and coffee bar to order from and then drinks in the evening. I was disappointed that there was no jacuzzi but the pool was good for the kids. I did notice that there were no extra blankets in the room and our beds were not completely set up as in other rooms. The sheets were frayed too. The room itself was not polished. There was unfinished jobs where the wall needed painting and the tile on the bathroom floor needed some new grout.

Indoor pool and hot tub not heated. As a family trip, this is why we chose this location. The reason varied the more I asked standing in my swim trunks. Not heated for off season, broken, waiting on parts, wouldn’t warm up in time, all local Wyndham locations had the same issue. Really? Disappointing. Should have been posted at check in and we would have switched hotels. Breakfast was excellent and the room clean.

Ended up having to stay at a near by hotel after the room my family and I were given after check in had a strong odor. They were unable to accommodate us due to the entire hotel being sold out for the night and were unable to offer us any options. We have had yet to hear back from management at this hotel as we didn’t stay for the one night we intended and were still charged for the room. I will say the staff was patient and room itself seemed nice but I was mainly concerned about the cleanliness/safety as the odor smelled of gas but the hotel claimed the odor was from previous guests cooking in the room, possible plumbing issues, and the curtains. Either way we were almost left without a place to sleep for the night but luckily a hotel near by had a vacancy. Would not personally book here again in the future.

the worst hotel ever as value for money. Stayed two nights with the family seen the reviews, we were given a room with broken air conditioning, replaced with a portable air conditioner fixed with a wooden wall placed in the window. This arrangement shows that the problem has been known for a long time but we weren't warned. It was very noisy and not enough, making us sleep in the heat all night. The window had to stay open, it didn't lock and they could enter from the outside being on the first floor. We asked to change rooms but were told they couldn't because "the system is not flexible". Crazy! they asked me to write an email to their manager, who obviously didn't reply in two days. The bedroom door didn't lock from the inside, we put a manual lock. The pool was dirty, and the whirlpool full of foam, a sign of uncontrolled water. We didn't trust to bathe. We couldn't change hotels because Page was sold out and they use the situation to charge you full price and treat you badly. I would have expected an apology and a discount given the situation, but the customer doesn't count here. I absolutely do not recommend it. Never again!

It was a nice short stay with my family. Visited Horshoebend,Glen Canyon and Zion. It was the best place to see the view of lake powell because it was just a minute drive. Hope to visit you guys again in the future.
