The hotel was great, really no issues. There was a mosquito flying around but thats not their fault. I got the junior suite and it was way too much space but still loved it. The hotel is also very close to a lot of restaurants in the area too

I have stayed here before and it was great. But now it needs some major updating. The facility looks dingy. We had about 10 families staying at this location and every single one of them said the same thing. They also claim that the restaurant does breakfast and dinner, but when we went down at dinner time, no one was there except a bartender. So we decided to order pizzas from and outside restaurant. The bartender was aware of this and very helpful. He provided us with paper plates, napkins and even a large trash can. When management found out they complained about the outside food. The manager also knew that we were all back in the restaurant and that the bartender was back there by himself with about 40 people. The manager never came back to see if the bartender or us needed anything or any help. This property definitely need some love and the staff needs some more training and help.

Well first off, we booked through Expedia so there was no refunding when we found out upon checking in that the pool was not functioning, so we had to go to another place just to sit in a hot tub tonight. Super inconvenient. Also upon checking in, there was no mention of a pet fee of $50. When walking in with my family, we were stopped with all of our luggage by the front desk to add a pet fee. Then we get to our room and it stinks horribly like old cigaret smoke and the toilet is disgusting. We will absolutely NOT be returning and will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

I liked that in spite of it being a full house of high school kids, it was relatively quiet. The area around the hotel is under major demolition, and is rather ghetto. Hopefully with time, that part of Phoenix will improve. The beds are very uncomfortable - after sleeping there for five nights, I went home extremely sore. It was like sleeping on a hard floor. The staff, especially in the bar/kitchen area were not very friendly and seemed stressed out. All in all, a decent price for the accommodations.

The hotel was amazingly clean - the staff were so polite and helpful. The only negative, the beds were not all that comfortable. A little too hard for our family taste, made for a long day after not a very good night's sleep. But if in the area, would probably stay again.

The check in, and check out staff, was courteous, friendly, and terrific. The area has a lot of restaurants, but not well lit. I wish the rooms offered microwaves, and a door that swings closes, not slides, for the bathroom. The stay was okay, it might be better for adults only, not so much families.

CRACK HEADS EVERYWHERE!!! This hotel is the little train that could. The property itself is fine, clean enough, service is good enough BUT, the homeless druggie atmosphere outside is frightening!!! If I wasn’t traveling with my children I wouldn’t have been so upset. There was a man panhandling in front of the hotel right outside of the front doors. I alerted security and they took immediate action. The atmosphere outside is the culprit. Be aware of your surroundings if you stay here.

When I come to Phoenix to see family and friends I always book here at the Doubletree, the staff is great but most importantly the rooms are clean and comfortable. Always have a good experience when I stay here.

We did a family weekend getaway. Was just an ‘ok’ trip not that horrible but should have been better. First complaint; Killed about 50 little mosquitos that were a size of a fruit fly. Not fun. (Side note there was less of them if you close the sink drain).👍 But again why do I have to be doing any of this on vacation. Second; called and asked for extra pillows and towels twice (separate calls-separate times) never came. Wouldn’t recommend for family trips. Beds aren’t really comfortable. And lots of homeless people around hotel plazas. Idk gave it 5/10.
