Everything was great until 0430 Sunday morning when a faulty fire alarm went off. We evacuated from mid sleep to the front of the building to find out someone pulled the fire alarm then to later find out it was a faulty fire alarm. We then went back to our room and the alarm stopped. 5 minutes later it went off again and we evacuated a second time to see what was going on and were told by other guests to go back to our room, same faulty fire alarm. We were never told by staff or did they ever make an announcement that there really wasn’t a fire, we found out from other guests. I think the hotel failed at letting guests know what was going on and seemed like they didn’t even care that families, women and children were all outside waiting for direction and never got it. Very disapponted……

We stay here every time we’re in town visiting family. We had no idea they were in the middle of a remodel, the hotel was under construction. We had one of the new suites that are beautiful. We stayed in room 706 and it overlooks the parking lot of Westgate mall. The new rooms are really nice, the only complaint would be the lighting. Wish they would have had better lighting in the bathroom for getting ready. The only complaint during our stay is that they charged us $694.88 when checking in for the incidentals when it was only supposed to be the regular $200. Also, the parking lot is $20 a day to park. Overall the stay was great, loved that we could walk to the shops and restaurants and it’s close to the stadium and freeway.

Well first off there is major construction going on inside the hotel. They tell it’s only from 9 to 6 EVERY day. Accept that’s not true we heard hammering until 8:45pm on Thursday night of our stay. And woke up Friday morning to more hammering at 7:50am. Called the front desk 3 times and they said they would take care of it, but it still went on after the 3rd call. Also on one night a bunch of kids were running through the halls and knocking on doors until 10:00pm. Again we called the front desk and told they would take care of it, but it continued. For $200.00 a night we should have saved our money and stayed at a hotel. I’m sure once construction is done it would be worth it, but not now!

The warmest kindest people. Liz at front desk and all the maids were sweet and made my wife and two baby boys feel cared for.
