Hampton Inn & Suites Prattville

We booked a studio suite. We got there around 9pm with my 2 toddlers and husband. We immediately found a couple of small ants that I was willing to ignore for one night because everything else looked clean. But then ants just kept popping up all over the room. We only saw 10 ants in total, but 3 being on the bed and 1 on my suitcase. I asked to move. The woman on night shift was very understanding and moved us to a smaller 2 queen room that was marked out of service since the bathroom door handle was slightly broken and was the only room open that late. Fine, I was just glad to move. Our new room was clean enough. No ants. But the next morning I asked for price adjustment given that a studio and a queen are different prices. I’m happy to pay for the room I stayed in, broken bathroom door handle, but no ants. I’m not happy to pay for a slightly more expensive room that I did not stay in due to ants. A different woman the next morning at the front desk said there is nothing she can do since I booked through a third party. I felt a little off-put given I shouldn’t be out of pocket for getting a room with ants, but I gave up arguing because she wasn’t interested in understanding what happened. Just not good customer service from the morning shift.

Everything very good but the breakfast kind of fake and insufficient. There was not real eggs and the other protein source was some turkey patties that were hard. I would really love to see real food, it’s very difficult to eat like this, most of all when you’re with kids.

Wonderful place — clean and well maintained. Halfway point to my family destination— will be my regular stop hotel from now on. Location is great w lots of shopping and ease of interstate access.

Great area to stop for travel. Several places to eat and that you are able to walk to after a long drive. Pool was simple and nice for kids. Starbucks next door. Good breakfast. Clean rooms

The outdoor pool was great for hanging out in with our kids. Great and lots of pillows. The continental breakfast was your standard breakfast with pastries, cereal, oatmeal and a few hot items. It’s right by food, Starbucks, shopping. Great location right off the freeway.

I love love love love this hotel, my family and I enjoyed our weekend! Thank you so much for the warm welcome and cozy stay!
