Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orange Beach

My family and I enjoyed our stay here! It was clean and friendly atmosphere.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great, room was clean. The room was big enough for the 5 of us(1 child and 4 adults). The bed was comfortable. The only complaints we have are not enough wash cloths, and the pillows weren’t comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

There was four of us. 2 kids 2 adults. We only had 3 wash clothes. I asked for 1 more and was told they didnt have anymore. So this morning house keeping was cleaning rooms and i asked for 1 and they told me they didnt have any. So my kids had to share. The handle on the toilet was broken, i got picture. They had 2 waffle machines of course 1 was broken. They key cards would not work for the side door. For $400 for 1 night im very disappointed. Red roof inn and motel six are not this bad. Oh and the spray they have for the waffle maker is horrible and the waffle maker timer is set too long. Everyone waffles was horrible, the batter is too thin. The staff was nice and the bed slept awesome.

So as of now I’m on the 3rd room that was given to me and still the AC doesn’t work. I checked in room 503 the WIFI internet wasn’t working the front desk receptionist stated the maintenance man is away at another property and I had to wait until he came back I waited a hour and asked if I could get another room Then she gave me room #413 absolutely no AC it’s so hot in that room and the remote didn’t work. She then gave me another room #404 HOT no AC I’m traveling with my 3 kids I think this is the worse hotel I’ve ever been in. Me and my family travels all over the world and all types of hotel this by far has been one of the worse. It’s now 9:40 I’ve switch 3 rooms with kids and now I’m exhausted and it’s hot in my room. Property management knows they know they room don’t have no AC.

The hotel is very nice--rooms are beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and a lot of variety. Pool was nice, and the little lagoon beside it has tons of turtles that were so fun for my kids to see! The ice machie on our floor stopped working for awhile, and the drink machines were empty-those are just about the only complaints. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, and will gladly do so again.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. They give you a code to use on a gate across the street to access the beach (5 min easy walk to the beach). they have no cribs for kids and no additional beds (contrary to what’s listed on Expedia). Breakfast was good… easy walk to grocery stores and Walmart and ice cream shops… area is pretty safe day and night!

The staff was exceptional overall! You couldn't ask for a better group of people.The one thing that really bugged us about our stay this time was the huge groups of children that stayed there. They were all crowding in the dining room at breakfast time and just hanging out at all of the tables. Some of them were even playing cards! Families were having to take food up to their rooms. Then at night they were overrunning the grill and picnic areas while others were preparing food for their families. I understand that the staff was trying to be polite to the groups, but it probably wasn't too much to ask the counselors to have them clear out so others could enjoy their breakfast and evenings out as well.

There was pretty much no breakfast available. The rooms were clean but barely. Very noisy. You could hear the TV and music from the next room. Teenage kids running up and down the halls and being loud.
