Holiday Inn Mobile-Dwtn/Hist. District, an IHG Hotel

Checked in to room 309, the people staying in 308 were very loud and constantly slamming the door. When confronted they cursed me and threatened me with violence. Was moved to a different room on the 10th floor and the A/C didn’t cool properly, but at that time me and my family were exhausted from traveling so we made the best of it. The hotel personnel were very helpful with our situation.

I was my best friend's birthday. It was Joe Cain Sunday as well. My boys and I stayed here and we almost brought another night but my son forgot his clothes. Even my baby boy enjoyed himself.

My family and I enjoyed our stay and the staff and service was fantastic. The only issue that we had was a homeless man begging for money in the hotel parking lot. He was not very nice and it made us uneasy. I recommend that the hotel have better security for their customers.

Had a wonderful stay here -- really close to downtown cafés and restaurants, allowed us to walk around with our kids. looking forward to coming back

The staff was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond for myself and my family. The manager was amazing. The front desk staff on 3 different days, we’re all incredibly nice. So helpful. We had a problem with orbits, the hotel fixed it for me before I could even come down to speak with them. They took initiative and just solved the problem with kindness. So great. Rooms were really clean as well. Food at the restaurant was pretty good also.

I have loved this hotel for a couple of years now and I wanted to share the experience with my children. This was their one and only Summer trip so they were excited. The experience was not pleasant because of the current renovations. I spoke with someone on the phone weeks before the trip and the renovations were NOT mentioned. Also, housekeeping came by once and did the minimal which was fine because we were in the room. The next day we left for hours and returned to an uncleaned room. I called housekeeping and they eventually came to the room, but with an attitude. Mind you we stayed at this hotel from Tuesday until Friday morning. They should have been happy that we didn’t bother them, but good paid help is hard to find.

One night stay for a family trip - hotel has had some updates but shows its age a bit. Overall comfortable stay but maybe not best value for the price paid.
