Holiday Inn Express And Suites- Birmingham North-Fultondale, an IHG Hotel

The room was much smaller than advertised. The entire staff aside from the housekeeping staff was absolutely rude. I will never book at this hotel again. The staff harassed us our entire stay. My visit was reserved for 4 people and there was a group of teenagers there that weren’t with my family I feel the front desk staff only questioned people in my party about where they were going in the hotel and reiterating their rules. I even cleaned the room myself so I wouldn’t be charged an additional fee

Great facility and family friendly

Everything was amazing, we even played card games in the lobby and let the kids watch tv next to us. They were very nice

This was by far the worst experience that I have ever had with this hotel. My family and I were 2 and half hours away from home for a tournament that weekend. I went to check in after our first game only to find out that the hotel had canceled my room that I had booked BACK in January WITHOUT a single notice, email or phone call. The front desk receptionist was HORRIBLE. She basically told me that their policy is that they didn’t have to reach out to me. No apology no accommodation no nothing. Just rude and unprofessional. There wasn’t any decency or common courtesy about her customer service and you need to be RE-trained on how to properly handle situations! Everything within a 10-12 mile radius was completely booked and no thanks to your employee who could’ve took 2 minutes to make a phone call instead said it wasn’t her problem. Well I will be going over her and making a complaint because that is no way to treat someone and I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay there if that’s the way you treat customers.
