Lochardil House Hotel

A quiet hotel just a 5 minute drive to downtown Inverness. The room was spacious and comfortable for the family. Very nice staff. We also enjoyed the Scottish breakfast in the morning.

Hotel is in a quiet area of Inverness, requiring a car or taxi to visit the town centre. The hotel itself is an older, grander building with a newer (2006), annex. We stayed in the annex, which had lovely big and clean rooms. Bed was very comfortable, with a fridge, tea and coffee. Bathroom was huge with nice products and a great shower. We had breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious. Staff were all welcoming with a real family atmosphere and they couldn't do enough for us. We would definitely return and have no problem recommending the hotel to other travellers. Inverness is a great base to see the great glen and the north east coast.

Our family traveling with us loved staying in the main building. We stayed in a large family room in the separate building. Husband had to take a work meeting and wifi is not great in the separate building so the manager set him up in a room in the main building for his meeting. The breakfast is amazing. Daughter was sick so stayed in bed and they let me do a takeaway container for her as well. Wonderful customer service here.

The family room was very big with a wonderful bathroom that had a shower and a tub.

The staff was great! Breakfast was delicious! Room wasn’t the greatest but large and clean for our family! No AC but they gave us a fan and it got cooler through the night with windows open.
